Human parrot

Human parrot?

Do we learn something
To understand it?
Or do we only learn
To parrot something?…

Well, my personal experience is that people often are like sheep. When one sheep runs into the fire the others follow – and we humans are similar: We run after what is in fashion, we copy others in words and go along the wishes of others too (curiosity, greed, envy) If the neibour has something what we not have, we also want to have (not all and everything of course) – however, there are of course other people who are independent from those influences, people who go there own way and most of them are treated as outsiders. So we have two groups: one group learns individually, self-reliantly while the other group follows the main-stream (I would say the majority)

I hope I have explained it sufficiently and clearly enough.

      Best wishes

  1. Thank you. You are right, I think parroting is an issue which needs to be addressed in today’s world yet I believe that it’s significance is far more relevant at a personal level that we need to retrospect and reflect upon our actions from time to time. πŸ™‚
