Thanks, dear Amira, for the nomination of “3.2.1 Quote Me Challenge!”

My thankfulness

I am very thankful to Amira, who has nominated me for the “3.2.1 Quote Me Challenge!”
Thank you very much, my friend πŸ™‚

Please, have a look at her spiritual coloured and interesting blog. Amira is an open-minded, positive thinking person and shares beautiful topics on the level of the heart to her bloggers.

This quote challenge involves posting 2 quotes for a selected topic of the day, and then selecting 3 other bloggers to take part if they desire to do so. The topic of the day from Amira’s blog is β€œHopeβ€œ. Amira has shared profound quotes for this topic on her blog, which can be found here:

Quote-Me-Challenge-Rules” are:

Rules: 3.2.1 Quote Me!
1. Thank the Selector
2. Post 2 quotes for the dedicated Topic of the Day.
3. Select 3 bloggers to take part in “3.2.1 Quote Me!”

Thanks again, dear Amira! πŸ™‚

My today’s two quotes, topic: Hope

1. “You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us. And the world will live as one.” – by John Lennon.

2. “Do not go to the garden of flowers!
O Friend! Go not there;
In your body is the garden of flowers.
Take your seat on the thousand petals of the lotus,
and there gaze on the Infinite Beauty.” – by Kabir (Songs of Kabir – Translated by Tagore)

Some words about the topic: “Hope-quotes”

John Lennon expresses in his quote his “Dream of Oneness and Unity” in our world – this is just what lies in my heart. The hope that we all understand us as One and when we all belong together – should we still fight, should we still have not enough respect and trust to each other, threaten us, separate us from Oneness? We should learn to understand that we all sit in the same boat. If each of us takes care (responsibility) that no water will come into our boat, then we surely can take our trip peacefully on the ocean of life in harmony and respect with all nations and religions, with all human beings under one roof: Humanity!

As Kabir puts it: “The Beauty lies within” – and we all try to find our happiness outside which is like: The fish is in the ocean searching for the water…

As Amira has beautifully written it: “Keep your hope flame alive and pass on the torch of HOPE to others!”- to add something to it: “With the flame of one candle thousands and thousands can be lit.”

My three nominees are:

1. MG Wells
2. A Tangle of Weeds
3. Akriti – doodlessworld

Wishing you all, dear bloggers, sunshine and peace in your heart

    • My dear friend

As I have understood it, this challege last 3 days in which you can place 2 quotes respectively and you can also change the topic. Then you nominate for each day 3 bloggers. Just follow the rules as stated therein.
All good wishes from heart to heart

      Dear Amira,

I have thought about these 3.2.1 numbers and came to the conclusion that 3 likely stands for the 3 bloggers to chose, 2 stands for the 2 quotations and 1 for 1 day. Means that this challenge does not last 3 days but just 1 day.

      All the best my friend

  1. Thank you dear Didi for your kind words, and especially for the beautiful selection of quotes, both filled with so much wisdom! When we can perceive the oneness among each other, and our mother earth, all divisions vanish… This is one of the most powerful visions that can change everything in our current state of affairs in the world! And your choice of Kabir’s poem is perfect, finding the ultimate oneness with the Divine within!
Very powerful! Thank you for igniting and spreading the light. In oneness, Amira

    • Thank you very much, dear Amira πŸ™‚ Yes, also my Master Sant Kirpal Sing emphasizes the necessity one Oneness. If we all are familiar with it live in our practical life then indeed we will all treat us no longer as separated individual persons, but see us all as a drop of the ocean.
And when it is said that love unites – then all of us should plunge into this love…
      My heart-felt thanks

  2. True quotes of Wisdom and Pointers, Didi. As Kabir has rightly said there is no garden to search but the garden is within you and why not go to that garden and look who you are. Even John Lennon says the same but in a different way. Loved both the quotes and even I have to take up this challenge from Amira. Will do so also.

  3. I tried following AMIRA’s blog and WORDPRESS would not allow me to do so. Something weird is going on. I will do the hope challenge shortly. This is my first time, so please bear with me. Thanks!

    • My dear friend, try to close completely your pc and restart, then go to wordpress again and try to follow her blog. I had sometimes too weird things with wordpress, but after a short tme all was working fine again. In case you have another pc or mobile phone you can make this test too, whether the problem remains. Please, just ask if you need more help.
Have a good time my friend

    • That is really strange my friend – wait still a few more days and if it still continous that you cannot follow Amira’s blog, then I would get in contact with wordpress, someone who is in charge of it.
Sorry that I cannot give you a better answer.
      Hugs from my heart

  4. I think it finally worked after several times. Thanks for your support. It is HOT here in NE USA, so I am doing my best to relax. Enjoy the day.

    • That’s nice to hear my friend that it finally worked πŸ™‚ A few days ago we had 30 degrees celsius – that is quite hot for the Finnish climate, but then their was sudden change in the weather and now we only have 13 degrees C. By the way I used to be in the USA too, in California, Nevada and Arizona. Was a nice holiday.
      Have a great time
