Saying and doing

We are what we do
Not that what we say

However, there should be no difference
Between saying and doing

    • yes, we need to have harmony between our words, thoughts and our actions, then we are true to ourselves and need not make promises we do not keep, exaggerate or make even a show, deceiving ourselves and others.

        • There are 4 types of karma – however, most of the people know just “karma” – I would like to refer you to: http://www.kirpalsingh-teachings.org/en/books-sant-kirpal-singh/the-wheel-of-life.html
In case it interests you you can obtain from it the understanding also about a karma-type which is actionless karma called Neh-Karma – here we are no longer the doers, but we see in everything God working as the doer: Once I wrote this: “The shadow thinks it is moving, but it is the light that moves it…”

All credit and thanks goes to my Master Sant Kirpal Singh without His teaching and guidance I am nothing… and when everything belongs to God and when everything God is, then my I, ego and mind stands only in between in the shadow of the light, then I am just a borrowed servant (meant in a positve way) – when we are the doer, then only our ego is involved…
Thank you very much for interest in this subject – good yearning for you on the spiritual path πŸ™‚

In fact, the enlightenment which our Masters bestow upon us due to which we mend our paths, sharpen our intellect and act in a manner which is in sync with spiritual inclination without leaving the public discourse. Your commentary DIDI JI is inspiring to say the least. I shall gain through the visionary insights of SANT JI through His writings and discourses. My profound regards to you and SANT KIRPAL SINGH JI for changing the mindset of the people in general through your teachings.

I am just a water-pipe where the water of my Master is running through. This teaching is a universal teaching that all competent Masters in different times and even different religions have taught. They may have taught this teaching in different words in accordance to the demands of the time respectively, but the meaning was the same; they always spoke in one voice, while ego and mind speaks in thousands of different voices: one is one and is united, while differences are separated, fragmented.

Here a link you may refer to:
                      http://www.kirpalsingh-teachings.org/en/welcome.html

On this page you also find books written by my Master – if you like you can start reading them, They all are a jewels of spiritual content.

Thank you very much for your comment and for your attention given.
                      My best wishes accompany you

                    • Didi Ji; my profoundest respects to you. The words and phrases used by you speak volumes about your Guru from whom you have imbibed the know-how. You have mentioned that you are the piple from where the knowledge of the Master flows. But it is worthwhile to mention that the pipe containing the water of knowledge should be carried and conveyed with clarity without any leakage in the form of ‘pride’ or ego which some of us tend to exhibit.

I shall go through the gems of information in the link you have forwarded.

                    • Yes, dear friend – whenever we do something, to be of help to needy and poor fellow human beings, to pray for others to do any kind of service to the benefit and welfare for mankind and othes, for one’s county and own soul – it should be done with a selfless attitude that no pride and ego can spoil those deeds. Moreover, when we are aware that we are not the Doers, then all credit goes to the Creator. Kabir said: “First we need humbleness, second: humbleness and third: humbleness…” Sometimes I am also attacked by ego and pride, but it is good to control those thoughts whenever they appear. For this reason and much more, my Master has strongly advised us to lead a spiritual diary, in which one can see own mistakes, in form of dishonesty, violence (even in thoughts), self-decption, lies, pride of knowledge, pride of money and possession, truthfulness, chastity, humbleness, (all in thoughts, words and deeds) selfless service, meditaion etc. – so that we are able to weed out shortcomings one by one and see ourselves like watching into a mirror. So I am also in the making and still equipped with lots of shortcoming…

Thank you very much for your attention give to this subject and for your profound comment made.

Have a good time in Him

                    • Didi Ji; thanks for your wisdom filled thoughts. Leading a simple life with all the opulence around, earning our living by adopting sincere means, having self esteem but not being over-concerned if even this ‘self-esteem’ comes under attack, be adaptive to the change but without losing ones moorings of truthfulness, aspiring for spiritual oriented existence without showcasing it, etc.

Then as far the meditation, is concerned, a sincere focus on OM or any other IK ONKAR but it all to originate from heart till every atom of body just vibrates with His energy. I am discussing with you, since you are the most venerable disciple of ONE who have (SANT KIRPAL SINGH JI) who has changed the destinies of many round the globe.

Your sagacious words are really beneficial to us all. Humbleness brings about connectivity with our roots.

                    • Didi Ji, you are absolutely right. If we run, it is just a mirage, the source eludes us, if we sincerely persist in His quest with yearning in our heart for His NAAM, He will surely be in our proximity and then in our connectivity. Didi Ji, I never rush for anything. I read, then practice, and if still not successful then again read. This goes on till I totally assimilate a thing under contention. I have GOD’S SPEED for everything in life; it may be with regard to my office job, writing or my quest for spirituality.

I am grateful to you for sparing your most precious time and for your inquiry. There are very few selfless people in this world who care for others. Thank you for your presence and your always friendly and kind words πŸ™‚

I have noticed myself when reading books that it is important to repeat them every now and then. Over the years I could ascertain that I always discovered new things in reading the same book. It means when we are growing spiritually our point of view, our understanding is growing too. And so we really grow into certain subjects and deepen us at the same time therein.

My wife and I are going to Kirpal Sagar in the month of November again. There we help volontarily, a selfless service fot the poor and needy ones. And in the last 30 years we were able with the Grace of God and by the instructions of Dr. Harbhajan Singh and his wife Biji Surinder Kaur to build this place Kirpal Sagar which was decided by the society of the Holy Saints to come into our world already 100000 years ago. In the Guru Granth Sahib one can read that the Merciful will come and bring this mission and this project Kirpal Sagar into our world. (Merciful translated means: Kirpal and Kirpal Sagar means: Ocean of Grace.

This place is open for the whole mankind and it is not just a place for doing Seva, selfless help, social help for other people, it is a place to become a real human being, When following all the instructions given by the Master then it is also possible to become a conscious worker of the divine plane.

So thank you one more time, dear friend.
All what is good for your soul (these words Dr, Harbhajan Singh used to say when he ended a spiritual speech (satsang).

My grateful thank for your valuable advice thereby making me aware of the spiritual paths which are open to us. I am of the view that every day is a new beginning for our enlightenment. We remain disciples of our Masters till the last day of our life. I have learnt more from informally from knowledgeable ones like you on daily basis. It is my personal experience that when we open our doors to the world at large, a new dawn comes forth – a dawn in which we submerge ourselves thus giving new meaning to our life. I am really fortunate to have good personages like you to refine myself and polish my viewpoints. But one thing I have learnt in life is that I am not a static in true sense of term. With the grace of Akalpurakh, I try to imbibe anything and everything that is good while discarding what is negative.
                      With profound regards,

                    • Dear friend Harbans

One thing we not forget: Though we are in this world, but we are not from this world – we are not the body, the senses working with the body, we are not even the interllect. Our mind is a bad master, but a good servant. Now see exchanged roles: The mind, that gets the power from the soul, abuses the soul, misleads her, is in control of her. But where we see that the soul is control of the mind? We run after pleasures of the world and live unconsciously in it. We follow automatic behaviour patterns, habits like programmed without trying to change things. What do we want: the pleasure of the world? or the become one who has no personality anymore, who gives up personal things, to sacrify everything to be of service to those who really need help, to be of service of God. When we look at the Saints, Christ, Buddha etc. how they lived – it is an example for us. So it is important to make a discision in our life, what we really want – this way or that way – both are not possible, otherwise we would stand nowhere.

A small story I would like to tell you to take reference of the word “Nowhere” that I just have used.

There was hermit living in a forest and he did not believe in God, so he wanted to demonstrate it and wrote with big letters on his house, made of wood: “God is nowhere!”
When his time came to leave the body, a small child appeared, materialized and stood in front of him. Then the child did not use other later but put a space and so one could read: “God is now here!”

So thank you dear friend and have a good reading time πŸ™‚
                      All the best

                    • Didi Ji: Yes sir, you are absolutely on dot when you say that our mind can make or break us. A reined in mind is our maser whereas when it goes awry, it could spell disastrous for us. It can even wash the Nish Karma deeds which we have transacted even. I have penned down some write-ups on importance of mind and its control. We are in the habit of enjoying the material prosperity at the cost of others which is a kukarma.

The examples which the Messengers of God have exhibited have to be considered and those principles adopted in our daily routines.

I am really impressed by an analogy about God β€œGOD IS NOWHERE’ to β€˜GOD IS HERE’.

Also, I am obviously very impressed by the write-up on different types of KARMA – a comprehensive one at that. The amount of richness which it contains is impressive to say the least. I intend to write what I have learnt from this topical useful write-up. A big salute to the writer sir.

An outstanding and exhaustive details in which I have undergone these subject, I have gained immensely on these subject; especially so on KARMA,.

To add to our know-how and remove the cobwebs here and there and remove the doubts existing because there are very less people who can remove these out-rightly with the ease in language and style. Theory remains theory when no practice follows – but when practice follows – it is no longer a theory as it is said: “Seeing is believing!” This is why this teaching is not just a theory or hypotheis, but it is the science of the sould according to Master Sant Kirpal Singh Ji – in those hundreds of different meditations and yogas – different experiences are there because mostly of them are experienced in the astral plane (which still belongs to the negative sphere) and those meditations start with excessive light, deceiving the one who is practising this kind of meditation without knowing that they are still in the clutch of the negative power, infact working for them. The meditation of Surat Shabd Yoga (the sound and light principle – with which the whole world came into being, when God decided to become many, Naam or Word and even in other words in different religions)

You may also read the details in sub-menus belonging to the main subject: meditation.

Only when we pass in the middle through the darkness to Sach Kand (region of pure consciousness with no matter in it) – we can be sure not to be in the clutches of the negative power. Pysical worl, astral, causal and super-causal world (incluging countless sub-plains therein, they all belong to the negative power. To understand the negative power (to which ego/mind also belongs too) I recommend to read the book from Kabir: “Anorak Sagar” and “The Dialogues of Kabir”.

                    • Dear Harbans

As long as our mind is active (in thoughts and vibrations as well) – we sow Karma (good or bad) – only when we rise above the body-consciousness with the right guidance of a competent Master in our mediation, when we are accepted by those Masters who gave a first-hand experience during the “inititation” – there we are aware that we are not the Doer and there only pure consciousness is existing (Shach Kand Bavan and above) – 2nd possibility is that Nehkarma, means once we have understood that we are not the doers and become conscious co-worker of the divine plane then we are totally under the umbrella of the God-power, we become the mouth-piece or Gurmukh of God, also in this case no karma is created -as such co-workers do not do anything from themselves, they do it with total surrender towards God that God can use them as a tool, as an instrument for His Will. Without such a guidance it is not possible and such disciples should follow the instructions given not just 99% but 100%. As Christ said: “If you love me then follow my commandments…”

                      Thank you dear Harbans.
                      All good wishes

                    • My grateful thanks to you the venerable one to enlighten me. So long as the mind remains active with thoughts and vibrations, we are under the influence of Karma (good or bad). Rising above the β€˜body consciousness’ helps but how to make it a possibility is the moot point. If for this, the Master is the requirement, then from where this Master to be found first for initiation and for making difference. To know that we are not the doers we have to surpass so many hurdles.
I am really very thankful to you for showing me the path. It is my responsibility to follow such a course.

If there is longing in the heart to find answers like: where do we come from, what is our purpose of life, where we have to go when leaving the body some day? – if the longing is strong for God that God may show us the right path in the middle of 100000 so-called prophets and masters – then God himself will make arrangements to put such a person on the path. My Master say, it is better not to meditate when one meditates on the wrong path or gets into the clutches of the so-called. Those meditations lead you only to astral plane at best to the causal plane and there is all kind of magic: black-magic, so-called heaven and hell. This light there is excessive and our physical world is like a washhouse in comparation to it. The soul is then misguided. Rising above the body consciousness, noone alone can do it, only through the guidance of a competent Master this is possible. At the time of initiation you will be given the “passwords” or simran with which you can go through the different higher planes. But before this step is taken it is good that you inform yourself of the path and the teaching given by all competent Masters. So I recommend that you read first some books of Master Sant Kirpal Singh Ji so that you are familar with the subject. I would like to recommend first to read these books and circular letter:

I have penned down a poem on KARMA based on the know-how I have gained by picking a few drops from the ocean of knowledge from KIRPAL SAGAR. Kindly appraise the poem and offer your invaluable comments.

I have also written the prose form also which I shall be publishing after sometimes only. I shall inform you about that when I shall finally publish that one too.

I shall remain thankful to you for this act of kindness.

                      With profoundest regards.

                    • Yes sir, an absolute silence of mind is the need of the hour. When all the five senses are silenced for a single purpose of focusing initially for sometimes and then this should become an automatic exercise.

Yours advise: When your Eye is single then your whole body will be full of light”…”is really very relevant. Kindly accept my grateful thanks for your wisdom filled words.
