Courage to admit own mistakes

Sometimes we are not aware
Of the consequences of our words and deeds
When we notice them,
Often it is already too late…
Then we get stuck in our own pride

With courage and confession
To be responsible for own mistakes
The rudder can still be pulled around

So we have to make peace with ourselves
To be in peace with others…

It is never too late for that…

  1. Dear Didi β€” This is beautiful, my friend, and such an important message! Apologizing sooner is better than later, but later is better than never. Late apologies can help to repair old wounds and, even if the person to whom we apologize does not remember our regrettable word or deed, we can free ourselves of the weight of carrying that regret, so that we can live lighter and more present in each moment today.
    Sending love and light, jen

    • Thank you very much, my dear friend Jen πŸ™‚
Your words are a good addition to my poem and give courage to those who are still in debt to another human being. Furthermore, it is a help to overcome our false pride in such matters.
Warm hugs and much love to you, my friend
      From heart to heart
