Know yourself – know God!
Everyone has in him, says a Saint, a pearl of priceless value, but as he does not know how to unearth it, he is going about with a beggar’s bowl.

The science of the soul
It is a practical subject and even to call it a religion of soul is a misnomer, for soul has no religion whatsoever. We may, if you like, call it the science of the soul, for it is truly a science, more scientific than all the known sciences of the world, capable of yielding valuable and verifiable results, quite precise and definite.
He who, by the power of the Word, finds himself can never again lose anything in the world.
By contacting the light and life principles, the primordial manifestations of God within the laboratory of the man body, we can virtually draw upon the “bread and water of life”, rise into cosmic awareness and gain immortality. This is the be-all and end-all of all religions, and embedded as we all are in the one Divinity, we ought to represent the noble truth of the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man. It is the living Word of the living God and has a great potential in it. It has been rightly said: “Man does not live by bread alone but by the Word of God.” And this Word of God is an unwritten law and an unspoken language. He who, by the power of the Word, finds himself can never again lose anything in the world. He who once grasps the human in himself, understands all mankind. It is that knowledge by knowing which everything else becomes known.
Man, know thyself
The only prerequisite for acquiring this spiritual treasure in one’s own soul is self-knowledge. This is why sages and seers in all times and in all climes have in unmistakable terms laid emphasis on self-analysis. Their clarion call to humanity has always been: Man, know thyself.
You will find all Masters gave that you must know yourself first, as self-knowledge precedes God-knowledge. The old Greeks had to say the same thing, “Gnothi Seauton”, “Know thyself!” The Upanishads say so, “Know thyself” and the Bible says, “Be still, and know that you are that.” So I mean to say there are findings of all Masters in all religions; and they have given out the same parallel thoughts, which are the same everywhere. God is to be realized.
Now the highest aim before us is to know God. All scriptures say so. But to know God, we have to know ourself.
How to know ourself?
By self analysis – by rising above body-consciousness. This physical body which is shaken off at the time of death – if we learn now how to leave the body, we will know we are not this body – we are the indweller of the body. We have got the astral body to work through the astral planes, and the causal body to work through the causal planes. If we just rise above all these, we know that “The father is working through me, and I am in the father.” “I and my father are one.”

You must know
You must know what you are, who you are.
You must know from where you came and how you came.
You must know your purpose of human life.
You must know all you did so far is fake and void.
You must know now you learn how to live and speak through life.
You must know your disease is within and remedy is within.
You must know all your questions are within and remedy is within.
You must know that still you need the help.
You must know your determination is a turning point in your life.
You must know you feel fully embedded with positive and potent thoughts.

Transformation: Drop into Sea
I wish my I and ego dissolves
Like sugar in a glass of water
Becoming one with the Ocean
No longer separated in my mind
I wish I flew with the birds
Sing their songs of happiness
Across countries without borders
A flying spirit of love and light
I wish I rolled with the waves
Kiss the sand of beaches, shores
Go along in storms and calm waters
Feel all beings in the sea of life
I wish I went with the wind
Around the world, feel oneness
With all creatures
The beat of life
I wish I travelled through time and space
Say hello to galaxies, enfolding universes
Take a ride on sun beams
Hear the breath, the pulse of cosmos
I wish I dissolved in You
O my Lord, Beyond and Here
Merging as a drop
Back into Your Ocean of Life
At Your feet without ego, mind
Light that returns into light
Surrendered in Your Will
To be with You everywhere…

Fights in the world
Everywhere we see fights
Brother against brother
Sister against siser
Family fights
Everywhere we see fights
People mark their rights
Fight for interests, religions
In thoughts, talks and actions
Parties are against parties
Political oponents, smarties
Groups against groups
Countries against countries
Cultures compare, measure, judge
Who is better who is worse
Attitude of arrogance, anti-humilation
Pride in fights
Where to find this evil behaviour?
In us, in each of us…
But mankind is one
Not yet done
Our fight should not be against others
Not against sisters and brothers
Each of us should fight
Own ego, mind – becoming love and light

Nameless sun
All we see the same
Mountain, sky, ocean
Give names what we grasp
With our senses
Different countries
Dress them in their language
Different cultures
In their own way
Different religions concrete
Their creeds by different names
Countries fear the otherness
Cultural infiltration
Cultures fear diversity
In habits and customs
Religions fear religions
Competitive exclusion
Translators, interpretors
Smooth the waves of thousand names
Are glasses to see same things
In same names and words
Countries, cultures, religions
Should put on those glasses
Then Oneness, not diversity, will appear
Based on humanity…
The sun does not hide behind names…

Satsang, one of the three pillars of spirituality (part 7 – last part)
(Full text can be read here):
http://www.kirpalsingh-teachings.org/index.php/en/talks/third-world-tour/480-satsang-one-of-the-three-pillars-of-spirituality28.html
By Sant Kirpal Singh, in Oakton, Virginia, USA, 29 September, 1972
The Master prays, “O God, You are the highest of the highest. We are wearing physical bodies, astral bodies, causal bodies, supercausal (bodies). We are on the earth, You are in the sky. How can we meet You, unless we rise up to that level?” You see? “Is there any remedy for that?” They say, “How to come up to that level where You are, nearer to You?” That (remedy) is the company of the Saints, when you become receptive.
Masters tell us in detail everything that is given in the scriptures. To have the right interpretation thereof, you must have somebody who has experienced that (mentioned in the scriptures). I have just been explaining to you one pillar (Satsang) of the three pillars which are most important in the Surat Shabd Yoga.
They (the Masters) give you a contact with Sat Naam within you, and in the company of the “Word made flesh” you have a boost. All other Masters also say the same thing, in their own languages, of course: “To come into contact with the God-into-expression-Power is coming in contact with the water of life, the nectar of life. That is the bread of life.” That comes from where? From heaven. “Whosoever partaketh of it shall have everlasting life.” This (inner) contact can be given by whom? By Him who is already “Word made flesh” – no intellectual can give you that. Of course, if he who is the mouthpiece of that Godpower is a learned man, he will tell you these things, giving so many instances from literature and elsewhere. Even if he does not have any degrees of outward education, He can give you a contact. You can have that by radiation by coming near in the field of action or the area. That’s the only difference.
So man-body is the highest in all creation. In this man-body, the ultimate goal is to have a beatific vision of God. That’s all – before we die!
Amongst the Hindus, there is a custom that when a man is just ready to die, people light a candle and put it on the palm of the dying man and tell him to look into the flame of this candle. The mantra which they read out means, “This light will accompany you hereafter.” The light and the palm of the dying man remain here. What is (the value of) that candle which is outward? “Take heed that the light which is within you is not darkness”, that’s all.
Do you now see the beauty of the Surat Shabd Yoga you have got? No other yoga can vie with it; they have their own scope. That’s right.
What is to be done? When you have got it (the inner contact), enjoy it. Make it a point, you see. That is the most important and most personal question, private work that you have got. We do not find time for that, and for worldly things, which will not accompany us, we put in (time) from morning till night. Then we come and say we have got not time to attend to that (spiritual practices). At least, in that case, if you have got “no time”, then surely you will have time to repent, to cry, to shed tears, at a time when nothing can be done.
So that is why all Masters enjoin, “Catch the time by the forelock. Don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today. Procrastination is the thief of time.”
That does not affect your (outer) labels ethically. You are a man, you see; man-body is the temple of God: you are simply to invert (your attention). How to invert? That demonstration is given by a Master; follow it accurately! Every Saint has his past and every sinner a future. So, please, “Time and tide wait for no man.” You know? “Time and tide wait for no man.” Time is passing away. Make the best use of the time at your disposal. What has passed is past; what will come in the future, we will see. Live in the living present. Let no second pass, no minute pass without it (inner remembrance).
This (inversion of attention) is what the Masters want from those who come to them, who are sent by God to them, of course. “It is He who sends and it is He in Him (the Master) who gives, not the son of man.” We respect that son of man (living human pole) through whom this thing (inner contact) is given and in whom He (God) is manifest. Wherever such Masters put their feet, those become the places of pilgrimage. He is the “moving (place of) pilgrimage” on earth. Wherever He sits, that becomes a place of pilgrimage. Make the best use of the radiation you receive in the company of a Saint. Whatever you have got, put more time into it by regular practices. Snatch away as much time as you can for that purpose, because that is your and your only work. That will help you here and hereafter – in both the worlds. All other things will leave you, but the Word and the Word made flesh will never leave you, not even after death. He will be extending all feasible help and protection to you wherever you are, near and far, that makes no difference. All Masters, all scriptures say these things.
Turning into…

When someone talks badly about you
Talk nicely about him
When someone thinks badly of you
Think well of him
If someone accuses you of making mistakes.
Emphasize his good qualities
If someone hates you
Embrace him with love
When someone criticizes you
Praise him
When someone is angry with you
Show compassion
When someone appears to be your enemy,
Treat him like a friend
If someone hurts you
Have gratitude
This is how a stone is transformed
Into a heart… into humanity…
Our inner anchor should be:
Peace, balance, love, humility
Compassion, kindness, non-violence – ONENESS

We are…
We are like streets:
Crossing each other
Like mountains, valleys:
Kissing the sky
We are like seas:
Wobbling on waves
Are like flowers:
Blossom and wither
Are like clouds:
Passing by time and space
We are like suns:
Giving light and warmth
Like nights:
Dark and bizarre
Are like fish:
Swimming in water, searching for it
We are like birds:
Screeching through universes
Are death and life:
Wandering Eternity
Are golden stars:
Dream and reality
Are a dream within a dream:
Yearning for awakening
Are united souls:
In the Ether of love and happiness
Have Forgotten our light…

Needed: The competent Guide – quote by Kabir
What is Naam or Word is written in the book “Naam or Word” by Sant Kirpal Singh. It can be read here, for all who are interested to know it:

Light and Sound
God was One – when He wished to be many, there was vibration, and this vibration resulted in two aspects: Light and Sound.
These two principles proceed from the Absolute Lord and are the way back to Him, the path that Masters have taught through practical and scientific experience. You will find symbols of Light and Sound in most of the religious places, and they represent the true Light and Sound of God which already exist within the man-body.
The inner Sound principle is All-Conscious and too subtle for the ears, the tongue, and the pen. It is an unwritten law and an unspoken language. It is self-existing, self-sustaining and self-supporting and yet is the very life of all that exists both in the animate and inanimate creation. But it can be realized in the deepest depth of the soul, for the two are the same essence, the soul being but a drop of the Ocean of All-consciousness.

Dream of a peaceful world
If there was trust among peoples
If there was respect among them
If there was tolerance between religions
If there was honesty in every heart
If there was compassion for those who suffer
If there was understanding among leaders
If there was fair sharing in the world
If there was no poor and rich people
If there was no violence any longer in the heads
If there was an ideal of high values within the society
If there was help and service to man
If there was spiritual development in our lives
We would not see weapons in the world
We would meet us with love and harmony
We would no longer use our earth as a trashbin
We would turn our ego into sunshine
We would understand the meaning of oneness:
We all sit in the same boat
We all are one as brothers and sisters
May each of us take this responsibility
For a better and safer world
May this dream come true…

Human parrot
Tiny Steps
How much power in every person
Roller-coaster of emotions
Circle of Time-Space
Born at the periphery of time-space
Time is slowly moving forward
Speeding up with age
Moves from the outside to the inside
In the vortex of pulling forces
Space and time are warped
Develop reversed centrifugal forces
Towards the black hole
Called death
Transit of beginning and end
Of end and beginning
Born at the periphery of time-space…

Between
Essence of Feelings
Not by Chance
There are more stars in the whole universe
Than grains of sand on all the beaches of the world
Is it then by chance that you are here
That your being is dressed in self-awareness?
This consciousness is one and the same
In each of us separately felt
Nothing is by chance
Consciousness is not a matter created by chance
We are all one and the same
Experience us differently
Separated in time and space
Fragments, waves of the great ocean
Illusion divides us
Although we are all one
Never have been really split
A dream we all dream
When all awake, we are back home – in Oneness
As the source of all sunbeams is the sun…

Ticking Timebomb
Live – NOW!
Lack of Love
There are people, they harm themselves
Expose themselves to pain self-created
To feel they are still alive
They do it not knowing
It is an act of self-punishment
Not to be loved so much
As a lack of love and self-love
May we all treat us with love
That no-one is excluded from this shower…
That no-none searches happiness
In a self-refuge of tasting own pain…

A cosmic poem
Endless kalaidoscops
As manifested masks
In fire, water, air and earth
Being in the making –
An unchanged change
Time carries space
And space time
Dream of divinity
Silence, eternity
Gateway to being, becoming
Everything rests in itself:
Beginning – without beginning
Life in death
And death in life
Immovable Becoming
Silence speaks
With light
As a free spirit
Breaking through time and space
All and nothing
All is being and nothing
Conscious Light
Blowing Stardust
Of love and life
A cosmic poem
