The course of words and deeds
Is directed by thoughts
Filtered by intellect and emotions
As stored memory content

Thoughts determine our actions
Wherever the journey may lead
In the wake of habits
To express life, information

Thoughts themselves are dependent
From the perceptions of the senses
As reflections of the time
To ignite the fire of life

Are triggers for thinking
To set the direction
Surrendering to the choice
Where thoughts may flow to

Thoughts control us
Senses control thoughts
But who controls the senses…?

…our minds…

And who are we? – Soul

Creation: there and not there

The whole creation is like
A white sheet of paper
As long no lines are drawn
All dormant lines are within
All that we can imagine
And even not imagine
As long no forms are visible

Is this the imagination
Of All and nothing?
Is this something
Between reality and illusion?
Are all opposite values
A sheet of paper
Full of lines and forms?

Are we the lines and forms
Not seeing the white sheet of paper?
The unity and Oneness in all
All and nothing therein?
Are we God’s imagination
Projected on this paper
Called creation?

A living illusion
Within a labyrinth of endless worlds…

Question of conscience

 

You are leaders of people
Within politics, in the military
At the working place, in the society
What was your reason to lead people?

Was it money?
You believe to get along
with people in an excellent way?
You believe in it
That your leadership
Is a good service to your country?
You have “more” privileges?
You have “more” recognition in the society?
Or to advance in your profession, career?
Or you just like it –
To be in control of other people…
Or was it to quench your thirst for power?

Your honest answer maybe
A mixture of those questions…

But how can a man lead people
If he/she does not know him/herself?…

And all will answer:
We all know us, know ourselves very well…

You may control other people
But you are controlled by your mind…

I live among people
Who hate each other, go to war
Where blind rage draws faces
Laws degenerate: eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth
Where people chase each other
To blame each other

I live on a planet
On which power, tyranny, egoism, money-greed rules
Where weapons and sharp words speak
Masses pour out in anger
Suppression is on the agenda
Man himself is next

I live in a boat called humanity
That staggers on the ocean violence
Where holes are chiselled in the planks
Threatening to sink the boat
Where stubbornness screams to the skies

Really, I live in this world
But I am not from this world

My heart belongs to the One
Where love is my home…
