Play with fire

Ignorance goes along
With naive thinking

Who sees through
The game of politics?…

…Bargening for votes
By unrealistic promises
Fairy tales – to win
Credulous voters
At all cost
To be on power

With people left behind:
Abused and cheated…

…Who also have to pay the bill
For following damages…

  1. We have read a lot of stuff about people unhappy with the politics today. It has to be one of the most difficult jobs to do and do well and with a total amount of ethics because even if YOU are that kind of person, all those around you are not, and you will have to spend a lot of time fighting to get the simplest of correct actions taken. So although I am not a fan of any kind of politics or party, I realize the truth in this statement, and it doesn’t make it easier to accept, but it does help me to keep from thinking that I can change anything. In order for things to change politically in any country, there must first be a total change in human values and thinking about those values and how to help everyone and not just the privileged few.

    • Thank you very much, dear Anne 🙂

With politics we already have tried some thousands of years and nothing really has changed (in its essence: we still see corruption, poor and rich people, wrong education, with a media spoiling the people) Dr. Harbhajan Singh was given the opportunity to hold a speech at the Viena Human-Rights Conference and he declared that our problems of the world cannot be solved politically but spiritually. So first man has to develop and when man has become a real human being with its focus on “human” then we are able to lead peoples., but then with a pure and honest heart. Spirituality: “Man know thyself…”

Thank you again for your contribution in this matter 🙂
      Have a great time

  2. The gullible are taken to ride by the political class by showing green pastures where none exist and when they have got power, they do not fulfill their promises. A wonderful poem indeed.
