Good and evil kindled
Fire of the mind
Are we sitting in the front row
As the good guys, play the game
Justice: better and worse
A trick of cunning treachery
To reap advantages
Willing to die in this battle
As a slave of the mind
To measure ourselves in search of adversaries
Emerging as a winner
Judging, appraising
Scale of equality
Weighing in our favour
Without the host’s bill
Same gambling everywhere:
With haggling, bargaining
To place one’s own person
In the right light
Lost seems to be who wins
Who doesn’t respect himself anymore
Looking for money and power
To classify man, use man
As a means to an end
An operation without dignity
Compassion, humanity
As lost humility
Intoxication of one’s own arrogance…

Awesome poem on lost in arrogance and where Ego is always poking its head every moment. Too good, Didi.

Yes Didi sir, our mind and senses are responsible for our behavior going berserk. Then ego over the charge and then limitless we go thinking that everything which is around is due to us only. Arrogance of first order! Your poem speaks it all, Thanks and regards.

Yes, we all have to become aware of our own shortcomings and to learn our lessions and weed them out one by one.
