Overcoming differences through our heart
Whether rich or poor
No matter what colour we are
What religion we belong to
What country we come from
This virus affects us all
No one is spared
Spreads fear and terror everywhere
But it can unite us
Make us conscious: We are all one
Are all humans, a big family
This virus gives us the understanding
That nothing is certain
That everything changes
What is today is different tomorrow
But it can wake us up:
To treat each other as human beings
Let us conquer terror and fear
Walking in humanity and respect
Help each other, make sacrifices
Coming together from man to man
Anchoring love as the strongest force
And hold us from heart to heart
In the end, we all can come out as winners
When we have learned our lesson:
We all are human beings, no better, no worse

Yes we are all just a Big One Human Family and this Virus has come to teach us that we need to give up selfishness and be selfless. God has come at the right time to show us what he is. Lovely poem, Didi.

I love your poem and at this time is so important to spread light and inspiration to everyone. We need to remain centered, balanced and calm in the eye of the storm, so we don’t fall prey of fear and panic. This virus maybe working to shake us up and wake us up to start doing things differently and to realize how interdependent and interconnected we all are, a part of the Oneness. So let us open our minds and our hearts across barriers of distances, social distancing, and borders, across time lines, we all live in our beautiful blue planet, our ship traveling through space, we are all in the same “boat”, so let us be mindful of our actions, and it’s consequences, let us be kind, respectful, helpful and caring, for we all belong to the human family.
