Throwing stones in the glass house

There are people
They do not only want to criticise
Know everything better
Actually want to punish
Have a hidden reason for it

As Nietzsche said:
“They attack to hide that they are attackable”

Let us pass them in silence
Wishing them all the best

Qualities of Light

Instead of hating
We should love

Instead of nagging
We should be grateful

Instead of taking and accumulating
We should give

Instead of thinking of ourselves
We should think of others

Instead of staying in anger
We should show generosity

Instead of controlling
We should practice tolerance

Instead of demanding
We should be wishless

Instead of resenting
We should be kind

Instead of profiting
We should share

Instead of lying
We should be honest

Instead of punishing
We should forgive and forget

Instead of ignorance and foolishness
We should develop right understanding

Instead of seeking pleasure
We should help each other

Instead of bowing to the mind
We should surrender to God

Instead of seeking differences
We should find common ground

Instead of deceiving
We should be true to ourselves

Instead of comparing ourselves
We should see our own faults

Instead of seeking greed and lust
We should live modestly and etically

Instead of fighting each other
We should reconcile

Instead of separating
We should unite

Instead of being attached to the world
We should live and die in God

Instead of wasting our life senselessly
We should start to lead it in the right way…

In search of oneself

We feel the other
Because we want to feel ourselves
Yet we fail
Touch only the outside…

True Prayer

True prayers do not need approval from others
They come silently and sincerely from the heart
Are not pinned to one’s own breast
Like an order
They need no witnesses, no emphasis
Are selfless, addressed directly to God
Are neither materialistic nor selfish
Are full of compassion for others
Without attracting attention…

Because we all live in the same boat

power and control

We all feel pain
Laugh or cry
Are serious or joyful
Are fearful or courageous
Are strong or weak
Are normal citizens of the world

Skin color does not change laughter
Religion does not change crying
Feelings are not state bound

For we are what we are
People of the same color

Who understands this
Overcomes racism
Nationality, skin color
Different creeds

Because we all live in the same boat…

DidiArtist, 13.04.2021

We are not…

We are not numbers
We are not a passport
We are not titles
We are not outer emblems
We are not devided
Not in different skin colours
Not in different religions
Not in different ideologies
Not in different politics

We are all human beings
Oneness from heart to heart
Drops of the same Ocean…

The world is like a mirror

We lose ourselves in it
Identifying ourselves with it
With this mirror image
Without knowing
That it is only a reflection
Of our own Self…

It is the shadow of the inner sun…

Eye Contact

A glance confirms
Reveals informations
Docks in exchanges
Examines and senses
Groping its way into the Unknown
Of the other
Feels cold and warmth
Approval and rejection
Without words
Is a give and take
Is night or day
Sunshine or rain
Is weather of moods
Is covered or open
Is fearless or fearful
A prism of feelings
A torrent of touches
Dance of emotions
Is a spiritual bridge
Connects each other
Creats reactions and wishes
Exchanges life

“Man! Know Thyself” – by Sant Kirpal Singh – Part 1

Dear friends,

In the coming days I am going to share with you in many smaller parts a very important subject: “Man know thyself!” – by Sant Kirpal Singh
which can be read also here:

http://spirituality.unity-of-man.org/en/spirituality/know-yourself-know-god.html

May you all be blessed and happy.
Didi

What ist the greatest study of man? Is it theology? I would say no. Is it knowing the law of Blackstone and other great men who came in the past? Even then the answer will be no. Is it the study of works of men like Shakespeare, Miltion, Dickens, Burns? No. Is it occultism or Buddhism or Christianity or Sikhism or any other social religion that we may study? Are such works the greatest aim of man’s study? Again I would say that the answer is no. Why?

If you become conversant with all the scriptures left by the Masters, what do they speak of? “Man, know thyself.” So, knowing man, both his outer and inner aspects, is the greatest study for us. The greatest study of man is man.

Sant Kirpal Singh

Since the beginning of creation, when the first flicker of self-awakening dawned on man, his attention has been more and more concerned with the problem of his own worldly existence and the investigation into the cause and source of all creation. For ages he has probed and queried in vain; but now at last his increasing thirst for knowledge is turning him to study the results achieved by others in the field. Ancient and modern sages asked, “What is that, the knowledge of which makes everything else known?” and in the same breath replied, “Knowledge of the higher self – the true man.” So the supreme knowledge is that which deals both in theory and practice with man’s true nature and his relation to God. It is in fact a natural science without hypothesis, subject neither to change nor time.

In ancient India it was called “Para Vidya” (science of realized truth or science of the beyond), and different denominations sprang up to interpret this knowledge. The term “Apra Vidya,” standing for preparation for achieving the knowledge of Para Vidya, was then introduced. This preparation consists of following an ethical and moral life, and the practice of concentration or meditation (in so many ways), both being indispensable for spiritual development. Man is constantly changing or introducing new names and terminologies to describe this science. The Masters were called “Sant,” and the nature of knowledge “Mat,” thus giving us the term “Sant Mat,” which is at present mostly used to name the Path of the Masters. Other terms, such as Shabd Yoga, Surat Shabd Yoga, Sehaj Yoga, are also used to describe the same science. In the Sanskrit language, the word “Sant” means a Master of the Highest Order; and “Mat” is a confirmed opinion or statement made by an adept after personal experience. The foundation of this science therefore is the result of critical study, minute investigation, and the life-long personal verification of facts based on practical experience of the Self in man. This experience of the Self is something that a competent Master is prepared to give to each individual who approaches him. Sant Mat, therefore, is the teaching, system, and path of the Saints.

The Masters do not attach any importance to names, designations, or the fact that many religious sects, groups and circles have claimed this science as their own and named it after their leaders or founders. They look upon these groups as schools where man – the noblest being in creation – can study with other men as children of one and the same Almighty Father. A Master (also called Sant Satguru) has complete mastery of both theory and practice, and is competent to impart both knowledge and experience to all sincere seekers after truth, without any distinction whatever of colour, caste or creed. Any man or woman, whether rich or poor, young or old, sage or sinner, learned or unlearned, who is able to grasp the theory of the science has a right to acquire this knowledge.

Shadows of the soul

 Thoughts and feelings
Are only symptoms
Expression of the intellect
Of the mind and the ego

The soul is free
From such symptoms…

Like a thousand-headed snake

Weed that is not pulled out by the root,
Will always grow again, even multiply.

Isn’t our mind like a weed
A thousand-headed serpent?

Blessed are the pure in heart

We say that we love God
But we do not even obey all his commandments
Are not willing to lay down our dirt within us
Are not even aware of our dirt

Where is he who is pure in heart….?

If we do not even lay down our dirt here,
So we think we can lay it down in “heaven”?

A great self-deception…

God helps those who help themselves….

When we take a step forward towards God
God will approach us with a thousand steps

Sant Kirpal Singh: “Reformers are needed, not of others, but of themselves.”

Ghandi: “If you wish to see a change in the world, be the change…”

“Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they shall see God.” – (Matthew 5:8)

Taking decisions

Every decision
That we meet
Is pointing the way
Are laid rails
On which the train runs
Called life

Some decisions are pregnant
Give birth to a new life
Change the way of life
From choice to choice
From moment to moment
Leave junctions

Are ways untrodden
Lost Opportunities
Rails in the void
Timeless lines
Separated from reality
Imaginary roads

But all decisions
Are interconnected
Each one triggers a new one
Shapes our lives
Carries us on rails
Called instant reality

Our life itself decides
Moves in the decisions of all life…

So the space of our decisions is limited
Free will depending
On all our individual decisions
Since life is not separated from life

May we all decide well, choose well…

A tiny change, a huge effect

A single change
In thoughts, words or deeds
Takes us into new waters
Of unfolding possibilities
Short and long term
Locally and globally
In terms of time and space

As the flapping does
Of a single butterfly

Like spreading ripples
Offering new ways

Unborn life…

Kirpal Sagar – all Religions peacefully together under one roof

Dear friends,

In 2007 there was a World Conference on Unity of Man and it was the first time in mankind’s history that symbols of truth of all religions side by side were revealed in Kirpal Sagar during this unique celebration.

This is an example that all religions can live together in co-existence in harmony – as there is only One God for all – we all are His children. God created man but man created religions. They all are a help for us to think of God, remember Him and it is not meant to fight against each other (one religion against another). Only ego says: this is better, this is higher – we are all in the same school of life, and aren’t we living on the same planet?…

May we all open our hearts
Didi

Outside and Inside

power and control

The mind directs the attention outwardly
The soul inwardly
Unfortunately the mind is so strong
That we look for truth and love only on the outside….

Parallel worlds

We all are walking
In parallel worlds
Meeting us in one Ocean
We call it: All-consciousness

We all are own universes
Touching galaxies
In a river of time
We call it: death and life

We all dream a piece of being
Unique in our kind
Puzzle of a super-universe
Transformation of old and new

We all are water of life
Belonging together
Parallel worlds
Dissolving in Oneness

We all are butterflies
Flowing mutations
Turning into higher dimensions
Becoming one again…

Beyond questions and answers

Beyond questions and answers

When the mind is still
No question arises, even no thought
Intellect is still
No search for answers

Questions and answers embrace each other…

God touches us in the silence…

We belong together

We belong together

Love connects
On a large and small scale
Is not devided
Is unlimited
Is testimony
Stands for interconnection
Of all living beings
Is the substance
That holds everything together

When we love the One
Then we love every-One

Is it so?

We are the good ones
We also say
We are bad
Our theater in front
Of us continues

We do not compare ourselves with others
We love the love
We hate the hate

We tell the truth
We do not seek advantage
We help others first
And then ourselves

Is it so?

Our life is just a big theater…
