Is it a good wine?
A good meal?
A good sports game?
A handsome man?
A beautiful woman?
Is it wealth?
A house and many children?
Worldly pleasures?
Travelling around the world?
Gaining advantages?
To fulfil wishes?
Is it book knowledge?
No, all that is not the purpose
The purpose of life
Which is only passed on
To our children
Only repeated constantly
We play a game with God:
Want to have the world and God
However, to have both is not possible
The world is just a market of endless wishes
What is the purpose of life?
Re-entry into our eternal home
But with filth no one can enter
A holy house
We must learn
To live in unity
For the drop
Is not separate from the ocean
We must learn
To serve one another
We must learn
To realise
That we are all one
In the house of God
To be aware
Of our thoughts and actions
Not to hurt anyone
Living in unity
Living for others
Is living for God
So let us no longer live
For our little ego
Then every action
Becomes His action
Without pride in a good deed
Then we live in harmony
With all creation…
