Wrong understanding

Praise is sometimes expressed
For reasons we neither expect nor see
The same is true when we give Likes
There may be other motives behind…

    • Dear Didi and Carol,

The use of “Like” button can be quite a contentious issue. I concur with both of you.

Furthermore, I would like to add that nowadays, I have neither the time nor the inclination to always engage with and/or inform people of what they have not been able to fathom or find answers for themselves, not to mention often having to deal with their behavioural problems and attitudes when I chose to engage in such matters in the past. Having said that, I would sooner risk being summarily misunderstood, dismissed or anything worse, than remaining completely silent and not giving them just a little nudge or acknowledgement by clicking the “Like” button when someone has written and published a post, whether or not they have bothered to do their own due diligence to reach far better discernments of what they have read and/or blog about.

Happy December to both of you!

      Yours sincerely,
      SoundEagle

      • Thank you, dear friend ๐Ÿ™‚

Why we give a “like” can have a thousand reasons – but when it reaches the target person, he or she naturally cannot know why he or she is getting a “like” – it serves as praise, as an incentive, as acknowledgement, as encouragement, or to show understanding. Sometimes we have to weigh up whether a “like” is appropriate or not, even if criticism is sometimes expressed. But if we find something good in a previous comment, we should not hesitate to make it known through the general “like”.

Sometimes I try to evaluate the correspondence, and the result comes out in my written thoughts as verse, aphorism, or thought fragments.

Whatever motives we have for giving a “like”, they arrive as a positive acceptance (for the most part).

Thank you for your profound comment, dear friend and also for you a happy time ๐Ÿ™‚
        Didi

            • Dear Didi,

Please be informed that whenever you visit my blog, I would like to recommend using a desktop or laptop computer with a large screen to view the rich multimedia contents available for heightening your multisensory enjoyment at my blog, which could be too powerful and feature-rich for iPad, iPhone, tablet or other portable devices to handle properly or adequately.

Furthermore, since my intricate blog contains advanced styling and multimedia components plus animations, it is advisable to avoid viewing the contents of my blog using the WordPress Reader, which cannot show many of the advanced features in my posts and pages. It is advisable to read the posts and pages directly in my blog so that you will be able to savour and relish all of the refined and glorious details. The posts that you have visited and commented on actually look far more impressive, complete and sophisticated, as they contain intricate animations and bespoke designs, which you can only see when you peruse those posts in situ.

SoundEagle in Birch Forest Landscape with Mushrooms is waiting for you to visit…..

            • Dear Didi,

I am delighted that you have recently visited my post entitled “๐ŸŽด If My Name Were Moon Tonightโ€ฆ ๐ŸŒ›๐ŸŒ๐ŸŽ‘๐Ÿˆท”, and I would like to alert you to a much improved and far more impressive version in the post entitled “๐ŸŽด If My Name Were Moon Tonightโ€ฆ ๐ŸŒ›๐ŸŒ๐ŸŽ‘๐Ÿˆท with Clair de Lune ๐ŸŒ•”, where I hope that you will snap up the chance to watch my dynamic animation produced in high resolution (1920 x 1280).

This animation-intensive post resulting from my dramatic attempt to bring the Full Moon alive, so to speak, in the form of Music Animation with Dynamic Visualization presented in high definition and imbued with a scintillating full moon surrounded by eye-catching astronomical phenomena and stellar activities!

The post has been recently expanded to contain twelve poetic stanzas constituting my rhyming poem entitled “If My Name Were Moon Tonightโ€ฆ“.

There is also the opportunity to savour my own rendition of โ€œClair de Luneโ€ recorded on the organ.

The direct link to the post is:

The animation starts calmly and will gradually climax. Please enjoy the animation on the big high-resolution screen of your desktop or laptop computer. Given your knowledge about the path of the Moon, I am certainly very keen and curious about what you will make of my said post. Please enjoy!

              Yours sincerely,
