Self-Introspection

If we don’t look at ourselves in the mirror
To find the original reflection of it
Then we cannot see us either
Do not know who we are
What we are
Where we come from
Where we have to go…

Then the purpose of life
Is covered by our ignorance…

Man know thyself…

Dream of life and death

Time draws the border
Between past and now
To welcome the moment
Fountain of life

Memorized pictures like clouds
Drifting into the past
Turning into dreams – fade
Lose in the abyss of time

Myriads of loaded information
Like perls on a string
Trickle through the hand
That tries to grasp lost moments

In the moment the moment dies
In the moment the moment arises
The spirit stands still
On the bridge between death and life

In front of the inner eye
Moments sail, pass by
Swallow the outer world
In the pulse of aging

Untouched by the change
Eyes watch the movement
Storm of transformation
Beat of life

Time and space close their doors
Leave a spirit behind
That slowly awakes
From a long night

Gently touched in morning light…

Ocean of Life and Being

We all are one
Millions and millions
Of drops, living consciousness
We are unity of man
Not separated from each other

When this understanding
Dawns in our heart
– Then we really know:
We are all brothers and sisters
In the Ocean of life
Forming the higher Self
– Collective Consciousness
Oneness – God

Then we will begin
To have real respect and love
For everyone – in the connection:
Brotherhood in Fatherhood…
All in One
And One in All

Sarovar – A sacred place of silence and contemplation (Kirpal Sagar)

Dear blogging friends,

Today something about the sarovar, a sacred place of silence and contemplation in Kirpal Sagar.

Wishing you all a relaxing time.
Didi

SAROVAR

A sacred place of silence and contemplation

The heart of Kirpal Sagar is the Sarovar, an oval-shaped pool surrounded by four corner buildings. The edifice in the centre of the basin bears models of the four main types of sacred buildings: a gurdwara, a temple, a mosque, and a church.

Their respective shapes symbolically refer to the human body, reminding us that God resides in man. They are found in all religious traditions as symbols of the man-body, which is the ‘true temple of God’.

The relation between man and God is the basis of the unity of mankind – the brotherhood of men under the fatherhood of God. This spiritual link never depends upon outer formations. The Sarovar is a sacred place for contemplation, meditation, and prayer. All religions are respected here. Holy Scriptures – such as the Guru Granth Sahib of the Sikhs, the Ramayana of the Hindus, the Bible of the Christians, and the Koran of the Muslims – are placed in the respective corner buildings of the Sarovar. During celebrations, these Scriptures are recited accordingly.

Every religion teaches the universal teaching and the universal link  among all human beings – the brotherhood of men and the fatherhood of God.  Religion is a very smooth pattern and a way to realize one’s self if one rises above the shackles of the religion.

Harbhajan Singh

The Sarovar symbolizes the endless ocean of life. Who is able to cross this immense ocean can return to his eternal home. The building amidst the Sarovar has the form of a ship, symbolizing the ‘Ship of Naam’ which can take the soul across the ocean of life. The term ‘Naam or Word’ denotes the God-into-expression power.

Though God resides everywhere and every place is holy where devotion kneels, it is a great chance for man to learn to sit together for the sake of the search for truth, the quest to know oneself, and to recognize the underlying unity of existence.

Is it so?

We are the good ones
We also say
We are bad
Our theater in front
Of us continues

We do not compare ourselves with others
We love the love
We hate the hate

We tell the truth
We do not seek advantage
We help others first
And then ourselves

Is it so?

Our life is just a big theater…

Kirpal Sagar – all Religions peacefully together under one roof

Dear friends,

In 2007 there was a World Conference on Unity of Man and it was the first time in mankind’s history that symbols of truth of all religions side by side were revealed in Kirpal Sagar during this unique celebration.

This is an example that all religions can live together in co-existence in harmony – as there is only One God for all – we all are His children. God created man but man created religions. They all are a help for us to think of God, remember Him and it is not meant to fight against each other (one religion against another). Only ego says: this is better, this is higher – we are all in the same school of life, and aren’t we living on the same planet?…

May we all open our hearts
Didi

I come first

Politics cannot work
Because each of the politicians and parties
Considers themselves better than others…

Who makes himself better
Is he really better?

Or is it not his own ego
That speaks and thinks like that?

Thus politics is a business
Everyone sells himself as expensive as possible…

False promises

What are many politicians doing
Just to get into power?
…They make false promises…

Too less – too much

All our thinking and doing
Is dependent on our state of mind

How many things we do
That are wrong
In this state
Only to regret them
After a few moments…

A word too much
A deed too less…

Or:

A word too less
A deed too much…

A word wrongly chosen
A deed wrongly made…

Therefore, think twice
Before doing or speaking…

Ego needs applause

We say we want to share
But our ego is tricky
Wants to be heard and seen
Needs you, wherever you are

We fly in lies
Cheat ourselves
Are identified
With the mind

Our good words and deeds
Need ears and eyes
To caress our ego
To be proud

Silence has no witness
A way to overcome
Separation, illusion
A vortex without an echo

When words lose meaning and content

Words, once obscene and shameful
Find more and more access
In our daily language use

What was once frowned upon
Sprang from the gutter
Becomes an everyday language

Loses its meaning
Shames our language
Becomes the normal vernacular

It is the people who become emptier
Who make a molehill out of a mountain
No longer distinguish between bad and right

It is the people who devalue values
As decadent inflation, a boom of society
Dimming consciousness, withering humanity

Violence is trivialized, glorified
Sex is sold and praised as love
Money and power worshipped as ideals

Today’s words and deeds show
Where man really stands
Where society stands

It disintegrates in decadence and lust for power
In exchange for consciousness and humanity…

Mass instigation

Some people are like wasps
They gather in a swarm
Anyone who comes near them gets stung

They feel threatened
Heat up on fake news
They become wild and aggressive

They are in doubt on one side
But on the other side, they pretend
Knowing the truth

Believe in that
What the internet throws at them
And feel like rebels

They do not understand
That they themselves are victims
Of manipulation and rumour

If they have so many doubts
They should also doubt themselves for once….

But this is only possible in a state of tranquillity….
