Answers in speculations

We speak much
With empty words
We appear with masks
With fear in tasks

We run after pleasures
To keep us entertained
We talk about love and happiness
And lose us in words

Arising from the heart
Where no food is given

Communicate unknowingly

In neural higher networks
Connect man through time and space

Living unities turn to

As an Ocean of life

Reservoir of moving waves
Self-sufficient biosphere
Migrating life impulses

Oneness without a break
Void and abundance intertwined
Timeless, spaceless, formless

Is it clever – to help
And to bath in generousity?

Cries of the war

Did you see the sorrowful tears
The broken hearts
The pain in the eyes
The depth of suffering
The radiating sorrow
Exuding fear and dread

Did you hear the silent questions: Why only?
The cries from the deepest ground
The voices of helplessness in the face of what has happened
The sound of despair
The fearful cry for help
From the hearts of deeply wounded people

You give orders
But you see and hear nothing
You hear and see only
What you want to hear and see
You are deaf to human cries
Blind to see people suffer

People have no nationality
People are people
And yet you wage a merciless war
Which you base on speculation and selfishness
Built on lies

Where is your humanity?

We lose self-control
Are hurt within speculations
React: hurting, punishing

Fired arrows find their goal
Through self-made illusions
Revenge onself for being “hurt”
Self-pleased satisfaction

Words of respect
Crumble, fade away
Reveal the true face
Unmask the show

Strike against the bank of tolerance
On a rigid sea called non-acceptance
Water of no space

Accompanied by fear and pride
Defended knowledge of scarred injuries
Fortress against hostile attackings
House of a snail

Ship of prison in the mind
Should weigh its anchor
To be free from thoughts and words
From luring wishes of these worlds

Bury prejudices
Serving each other selflessly
Overcoming pride and ego
Finding our own mistakes
Not those of the others
To make us better
To be higher
To create envy
But to create harmony
Togetherness, not selfishness

People, dear brothers, sisters
We’re all one
No-one’s better, nor worse
In our hearts we are all equal
Let’s stop waging war
Because every war
Is a war against ourselves
Let our hearts speak
Not our mind…

This path begins

What colour, religion we have
We are then one in distress
Standing together from man to man

Back in our everyday life we fall asleep again
In anonymity, distance, old habits

Foreign people who lay in their arms
Now avoid eye contact

So let us keep this humanity alive
Not just in bad times, but also in good times

Let us be aware of this deep happiness
Of this unique unity – as we are all One

Two seekers after truth went to… story by Sant Kirpal Singh

 

 

Excerpt from the small book: “What is a true Satsangi”

Two seekers after truth went to a Master to be put on the way. What did he do? He gave them two pigeons and told them, “Go to some place where nobody will see you and kill them.” One man went out behind a wall, killed the pigeon and came back: “Master, I’ve killed it. There was nobody there.” The other poor fellow was hunting, knocking about from place to place, in many secret places, many lonely places, from morn to night. He could not find any place where nobody was seeing him. He came back: “Master, I’m helpless. I could not find any place where nobody was seeing me.” – “Who was it?” He said, “The very pigeon was seeing me.” When he went to kill, it looked at him. It was God in him. Just think. These are very simple things, but they are pregnant with meaning.

God resides in every heart. He also resides in you. He is watching our every action. Similarly, God in man, the Master, also looks to our shortcomings, but he does so lovingly. He wants to wash them away. So always remain in his presence. That is why Kabir said, “When the Master initiates you (Master is not the body; it is the Godpower working in him), he resides with you forever.” One thing: He is always present. Can you do any sin, tell lies, deceive others, act or pose? No.
