  1. Dear Ellen,
Thank you very much, my friend πŸ™‚ Now X-mas is over and I have spent it in Lapland with lots of snow and and a temperature of -20 degrees Celsius. It was really nice, close to Santa Claus’ village. Also for you and yours a Happy New Year and that you may feel better in the coming year. May God bless you and your family, dear Ellen πŸ™‚

Consciousness is an endless ocean of life in which we all are a drop of it – learning and understanding our whole life to become more and more conscious.

Merry Xmas to you and yours, and inner Xmas that may run through the inner venes of our conscioiusness.

  4. Factually Didi sir, spiritual journey of ours is a continuous one, a never ending quest for knowing something unknown and having experience with it and then adopting that in our daily life if it suits and leaving if it does not, of course with the power of our discrimination which God has bestowed us humans specially. Your write-ups are really very enlightening. THANKS AND REGARDS.

  5. My dear friend,
Thank you very much for your kind nomination which I fully appreciate. The last time I participated in Award giving and receiving is more than 3 years ago.
I have stopped it, since everything I do I want to do it with 100% attention, as I am doing so many things, there is no time for me left or I would have to do
it half-heartedly, means not with 100 % attention and this is what I do not like and want. I take care of much translation work and do speak 6 languages, have my hobby with
digital art and write poems as well, you can be sure that is not much extra time left. So I hope that you understand it, dear Sakshi. Do not be sad, my friend, your nomination
is an honour for me and I would like to honour you with good thoughts of mine. Stay happy and with a happy smile on your lips. I will come to your blog every now and then
and will write something for you.
    All the best πŸ™‚

I am very much honored that you nominated me for the Awesome blogger award. I hope you are not disappointed when I do not participate in awards sharing. I have many times joined it and about 2 years ago I have stopped it. I think that those who have not got the opportunity of participating in such awards giving and accepting, it should be their turn now. Whenever you have questions or you want to know more about spirituality, then you are always free to contact me. Spirituality is the beauty of the soul. When putting it into practice we follow the footsteps of the great wise men who have shaped our civilization – we gain in the same way what they have attained: inner light and inner sound – it requires discipline and regularity to understand more and more all tricks of our own mind – when we think we know ourselves, then we can be sure that we do not know us, everything is practical matter but we cannot get such treasures in a weekend seminar, in putting our attention every now and then into: “Man know thyself” – this has to be done the whole life – to become more and more conscious.

So, my dear friend, do not be disappointed as holy people used to say: “Where there is no expectation, there is no disappointment…”

Make the best out of these difficult times.
    Stay happy and healthy

I hope, you are not disappointed when I do not participate in it. I have already stopped award-participations about 2 years ago as I have joined so many times.Instead of me others should get this opportunity as well.

Anyway, it is very kind of you, thank you, dear friend πŸ™‚

  9. Yes, dear Ianus and during 2 major World Conferences over there with different representatives from various religions it has proved and shown that they can live together in co-existence. It is also necessary for us to understand that the names we give to describe things cannot really explain those things as they put the whole into fragments, drawn by borders (we create ourselves in our mind) – how can the river describe the Ocean… only very limited… So the “Nameless” has many names…and yet no name has the right to claim to be right…

    Thank you, dear Ianus πŸ™‚
    Have a great time

  12. Dear Ilona,

Sometimes, when our mood is changing, we feel down and other days happy, like a roller coaster: up and down with our feelings, then we have things in us which we have not worked out properly, then our thoughts often drift back to the past, try to understand situations, rewind them again and again and feel sad and disappointed when life has offered us “bad medicine” – however, it is good, if this is the case, to let loose, to let go past things which we cannot change anymore – of course, we can learn from our past why things happened like this in connections with friends and relatives – our mind is then captured wandering back and forward and an inner fight takes place – look forward my friend, look in the presence as past and future are mere dragons which try to catch our attention. Start enjoying the little things and keep your attention it in thankfulness – later we will understand why this or that happened, but it takes time and is a matter of inner progress and development – in us, my friend, is ego and mind working and even if we appear not to be touched by it – we can be sure that we are still under the control of ego and mind…

I wish you much yearning for the truth, in order to solve one day the riddle of death and life… our aim is: to find our real Home…

Love and light to you, dear friend -let sunshine enter your heart πŸ™‚

    A warm hug

  14. Dear Ilona,

When this is your real wish, then you are a seeker of the truth. If you like, I can give you some hints and small pieces of advice, to start to read with some books written by very great wise men. They, in fact, have given a living example with their life, how to live in this world, be it Christ, Buddha, Kabir, Guru Nanak, Baba Jaimal Singh, Sant Kirpal Singh, Maulana Rumi, Shamze e Tabrez, etc. – they all followed the same teaching: of inner light and sound.

If you like you can start reading this book: after this book, take your time to digest it, when you are still interested I will send more books suggestions what to read (you will learn a lot and will progress on the path of spirituality) – here is the first link:

    Click to access KirpalSingh_BabaJaimalSingh.pdf

Wishing you a good reading and good digestion of it.

Whenever you have any questions I will do my best to answer it, if possible.

    Take care, my friend πŸ™‚

Spirituality is indeed something else, sometimes it is mixed with spiritism, with ghosts and the like.

In the advancing years it will go away or nearly go away.

May God bless you and may you overcome such scaring condition.

  18. Dear Ilona,

When I was young I also suffered from it, I was between a dream and awake and could not move any finger, I was paralyzed too – it was always a very bad condition and my heartbeat was running like anything when I finally succeeded to wake up or to come out of this condition which I called awake-sleep-condition. Over the years it became better and better. Nowadays it is very very seldom that I come into this condition. I found out that when I did not have enough sleep, when I was stressed – then it happened more often. So I know what you have to go through, dear Ilona. This condition is not so seldom, also my friend suffered from it. It could also be that it is a lack of oxygen that overnight we could use a kind of mask that gives us more oxygen.
Hope you will not suffer from it too much.
    All the best my friend

  20. My dear Ilona,
The link below explains a bit what spirituality is:

    https://www.unity-of-man.org/en/spirituality/

In a few words, it is the ability to dive into our own being, analyze us and get to know the mind, how it works, become more conscious in the process of: “Man know thyself” – the strange thing is that we all think we know ourselves best, however, we are still blind, we do not know us in the proper way. Many times we just react, instead of act, we follow blindly the whole spectrum of our mind: anger, happiness, greed, joy, attachment, detachment, hate, and love and change these colours like a chameleon.

Thank you, my friend, your words are encouraging and very kind πŸ™‚

  25. Welcome, my dear friend Anne πŸ™‚ Yes, often we find a huge gap between saying and doing and from sayings we can also see, if one has understood the essence of spirituality or not: A holy person once used to say: “The deepest knowledge lies in the fact of serving others…” – selfless service of course, without being proud of it, but in thankfulness that God has given us such opportunity…

    Thank you, dear Anne πŸ™‚
    Have a great weekend

  26. This is excellent wisdom, Didi. There are a lot of people out there who use spirituality wrongfully for their own benefit. You have to pay attention to how what they say goes with what they do and show you of themselves. Thank you kindly.

  29. I really LOVE your site, and I am very much in tune with what you have written and shown in your art here. Beautiful site. I too am very much involved with spirituality, being an advocate, mentor and activist for those with physical, developmental, and emotional challenges and have been for many years.

I too am an artist – fiber art first (art quilts), urban art, interactive art (I create things with mysterious symbols and writing on them, and artful images, and then put them out in an area where they might be eventually found and people will try to interpret them – I love this idea). I am a published writer too of nonfiction (so far), poetry, and quotations. I have written two children’s stories, but have not published them as they need art and I might do the art for one of them.

So appreciate learning of you and I love all these wonderful things on your site. It is beautiful and definitely inspiring. Thank you kindly.

The purpose is to cleanse our mind slate and seek for connectivity with our Creator sincerely. There may come some impediments in our path but these could be surmounted with personal belief and belief on the God. Thanks sharing a wonderful blog. Regards

In fact, this is a universal vision or teaching taught by all competent Masters coming into this world. So it is not my merit and thus my thankfulness goes to all those holy men who even sacrificed their lives to bring compassion and spirituality into the hearts of the people to bear fruit that love and understanding, unity, may spread in all directions.
Thank you very much, dear friend πŸ™‚
