Beyond the mind

Beyond the mind

When do we see
Not with eyes
Of mind
The truth?

When do we hear
Not with outer ears
The sound of love
The silence alive?

When do we taste
No longer pleasure, power
But food of light
The inner sight?

When do we smell
No longer profit, advantage
But sweet compassion
Fragrance of unity?

When do we feel
Divine touch
That all is one
The inner sun?

So let us share respect
Love for everyone
As all we are a ray
Of such a loving sun

So let us live the inner world
Beyond the mind and senses
And bring the light of oneness
Awakening of our hearts

Silent prayer

Silent Prayer

Mouth is quick
But heart not able
To follow
Put tongue
In hand

Oh my creator
Let my thoughts be water
And words be sun
To be flower of life
In your garden

Not a reflection
From a reflection
But living truth
True life

Let my mouth be silent
With voices from the heart
That all flows along
Your will, your love…

Again and again

Again and again

Again and again
Involved in patterns
Similar cases
Reborn in shadows

Again and again
Falling in ditches
Following patterns
Programmed steps

Again and again
In circles of deeds
Old traces, same patterns
Captured acts and reactions

Again and again
From old to new
Inherited patterns
Tests, temptations

With courage and consciousness
Understanding in the moment
To escape patterns
Prisons of life

Travelling home

Travelling home

Juggler between life and death
Opposites breaking up
Opening in torpid senses
Vacuum of all and nothing

Dreaming clouds of finity
Facettes of changing illusions
Within the breath of infinity
Bleeding time, bursting eternity

Beyond all words and forms
Eternal moment arises
Sailing in silence
The Ocean of no(w)-here

Embeded in white roses
A sea of golden light
Fragrance of pure love
Torrent of all times

Coming together all and nothing
Fragments of a bursted dream
Endless unity, oneness without beginning
Meadow of All-consciousness

Forms are losing their forms
Words fading away, sinking back
In the pool of namelessness
Merging, embracing divinity

Illusions lose their taste
Broken actors their acts
Silently in the wake-up
Finding oneself, sky of eternity

Real Net Blog Award

Nominated by Pharaoh:

Pharaoh has kindly nominated me for the “Real Net Blog Award”. Thank you so much, dear friend 🙂

My impression of my friend Pharaoh: He is a very sensible person and interested in spirituality as well. He questions himself and his role in this world and with his thoughts goes deep into the purpose and questions of life. I want to thank him for his active friendship (participating in comments and showing interest in my thoughts and writing as well) – so I want to recommend him, to visit his blog-site as he is surely an enrichment for every blogger.

The Rules

1. Put the award logo on your blog.
2. Answer 7 questions asked by the person who nominated you
3. Thank the people who nominated you, linking to their blogs.
4. Nominate any number of bloggers you like, linking to their blogs.
5. Let them know you nominated them (by commenting on their blog etc.)

Questions put by Pharaoh:

1. What is your main inspiration as a writer. Which writers inspire you, and why do you write?

As I am interested to get to know myself in the sense: “Man know thyself” – I have carefully observed my own mind and found that there is a connection with other people, means that those things may also occur in their lives, in their experiences and in their minds. This inspires me to write about spirituality and share with the community of wordpress.

I am reading many books about spirituality and my favourite ones are written by my Master Sant Kirpal Singh Ji, Dr. Harbhajan Singh, Kabir, Rumi and Baba Jaimal Singh – they can give many practical advices as they lived their live not just in theory but living practice.

I started writing poems at the age of 20 when I was sitting in the middle of the nature, close to two lakes and was so much filled by love for the beautiful nature of Finland, far and wide no other person – just the nature and me – that I began to write what came straight out of my heart.

2. If you were stranded on an island with one thing what would it be?

To have God all the time consciously in my heart – then He would take care of His child and nothing I would miss…

3. If you could travel anywhere in the world right now where would you go?

I would go to Kirpal Sagar, in India, about 350 km northwards from New Delhi. It is a wonderful place for the whole mankind where not only social work can be done to help poor and needy people to get free medical treatment and operation, not only because there is a school with about 650 students educated in the right sense of life, being taught respect and love for everyone, not only because there is a hospital which many voluntary helpers from all over the world have built up – also to help needy persons, not only because there is and old father’s home for those who are poor and lonely and have no family to care of them, and many things more, but also because this unique place has all world-religions peacefully under one roof – due to Sant Kirpal Singh’s initiative and the huge helping factor of Dr. Harbhajan Singh and his wife Biji Surinder Kaur who have spent their lives with each blood-drop devoted to the Mission of Sant Kirpal Singh, who had and has a big heart for all people of the world.

There, Kirpal Sagar one can practise spirituality in its true sense and become a real man with human attributes, to help each other and to be there for each other.

A library to study even different kinds of religions is also available to have a better understanding among religions (there are the most important holy scriptures in all world-religions, also in different languages). This allows man to have comparative study of the religions – by this we all can understand that there is just One God for all – we all are His children, no matter which name we give to Him, the Nameless…

4. What is more important to you, self-love or health?

I would say it is Self-love (not to mix with loving oneself as a narcissist) but to love this higher Self in us in which we are all connected has for me more priority than just health – if it is in my fate to die of some illness – ok, I would accept it.

Isn’t the higher Self a collective consciousness that connects us all? It is said: first comes Self-realisation, then followed by God-realisation… So I do not love my mind or ego but the higher Self in me… however, I will treat also my mind, whenever possible, kindly.

5. If you had to eat a food every single meal for the rest of your life what would it be?

It would be always vegetarian meals anyway (no eggs but with some milk products) I have heard that nuts for example is enough to survive and I would also eat lentil soup as it is rich of proteins, also potatoes with just some milk or quark, besides of course vegetables of all kind, also fruit.

6. What is one thing you truly regret on a deeply profound level and wish you could change?

Or are you at peace with everything? There are moments when the mind directs you and convinces you to do things that are really not good, be it eating unhealthy food, be it to be attacked by lust or greed or any egoistic thought, word or deed. These things happened in my life and still happen – you can say it is human, but this is not enough for me: as long we are in the clutch of our mind, when our mind is dragging us here and there and our poor soul has to follow where the mind directs you – then I cannot be satisfied. However, there are good signs at the horizon that slowly, slowly with the Grace and help of God – mind will become a servant of the soul… (mind is a bad Master but can be a good servant…)

7. What are you most grateful for in life?

When I was young I was in search of the truth and I had a wonderful experience how I entered the path of truth, the path of spirituality (but this is a long story and maybe I will tell this another time…) – When I came to Unity of Man I found all this what I did not find anywhere else: respect among people and religions, understanding, consciousness and love for the whole creation. I joined many Satsangs which means that people come together to receive some kind of food for the soul, where you learn practically what spirituality really means… Since many years I am a follower now of Unity of Man movement – it seems for me that this is the only way for the whole mankind (as the name already says: Unity of man – that we are all one – and so we have to treat us too, as brothers and sisters…) So all my thankfulness goes to my Master Sant Kirpal Singh Ji, to Dr. Harbhajan Singh and his wife Biji Surinder Kaur – they are the most important persons in my life and have also changed it…

Thanks, dear Pharaoh for your kindness of having nominated me 🙂

My questions to you:

1.) Purpose of life?
2.) Which music instrument you like best?
3.) Your favourite music band?
4.) How to bring religions together in harmony?
5.) If you could choose an extra school subject – what would it be?
6.) Can politics bring a change in the world?
7.) Why it is important to learn from own mistakes?

My nominations:

Poet Rummager
Life at her brightest
Jen’s Jewish Journey
The Little Mermaid

Its not a must to participate. Just feel free in your choice 🙂

To everyone: God may bless you and your families

New world

New world

New rays of sunlight
Hope along the horizont
The morning is spreading
A change in the heart

Calls of seagulls
Announce the new day
Colour of unity
Golden beams of love

Old animosities vanish
In smiling open hearts
Turn into understanding
Handshaking sighs

Fights of differences
Learn to unite
Overcome old wounds
Space for a new world

A world of caring and sharing
With humans living peacefully
Together hand in hand
Under one roof:

One world
One universe
One Love
One God for all

Life is abyss
Between here and now
Ripping worlds
Creating breaks

Depth in knowledge
Disintegrates, separates
Birth of answers, questions
Break of being

Drop and ocean likewise
Search of sense of life
How and what
From where and where to

That what is
Is not
And that what is not

Observer of being
With eyes from non-being
Incomprehensible comprehension
Multiplicity from void

Framed worlds
Woven in each other
Always wrestling

Foot in front of the abyss
Spirit without words
No being, no non-being
Thoughtless thought

Time without space
Light without shadows
Shadows unborn
Space without time

Sunshine Blogger Award

Simplisticinsights has nominated me for the “Sunshine Blogger Award” for which I would like to express my thankfulness.

From her writings you can learn that she is an open-minded person, always ready to learn new things in her life. If you want to know more about her just visit her site.

1.) Thank the person who nominated you in a blog post and link back to their blog.

2.) Answer the 11 questions sent by the person who nominated you.

3.) Nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions.

4.) List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award logo in your post and/or on your blog.

Questions put by Simplisticinsights<:

1.) Most memerable day of your life?
When I had an awful car-accident together with my family. We were on the motorway when suddenly one tyre exploded. Then we were in a kind of super-carousel with many loopings of the car. When coming back to the street on our wheels then we were all lucky to have survived this accident: the car was totally damaged but we all got away with not even one scratch. Our thankfulness to God as He has had His protecting hands over us.

2.) Most beloved feeling you have ever felt, Explained in detail?
Once I hugged someone and it felt like being beyond time and space, as if two souls merged together as one soul – words cannot express this condition.

3.) Favorite destination you have traveled to
One of my most beautiful journeys was to set a foot on Iceland and see its wonderful landscapes and beauty. The nature there is very rich, although there are not many forests or woods (in fact no forests) as we know them in Finland, but it has its charm and magic in the huge waterfalls, sulphur lakes, (blue laguna near Reykjavik), earth-quake areas, volkanos, crater landscapes, calderas, geysers and much more… also Svalbard, 1000 km northwards from North-Norway was very interesting too. Then I also like all old cultural countries with there mysteries.

4.) Most memerable dream you have ever had?
In fact it was not a dream but rather a vision: When the Gurmukh Biji Surinder Kaur, (competent disciple of Sant Kirpal Singh) has left the body, she appeared to me and wanted to say Good Bye – her thank went to all of us who helped building up Kirpal Sagar. I did not know that she would leave the body and at that night she came to me in my vision. I was crying like a small child and when I “woke up”, my eyes were full of tears…

5. Most desired destination you wish to visit someday?
I would like to visit Greenland, Alaska and North-Canada as they have something very special: mostly untouched by man. I am also interested in all ancient high cultures that our mankind has brought foward throughout the history. Those old places where mystical traces of such ancient cultures were left in giant monoments, I would like to visit too.

6.) Best Triat in your writing style?
I usually want to write in such a way that the result is not at the beginning but at the end, so that the reader still might be interested to read to the end in order to get to know the revealing sense of it.

7.) If you could have one superpower what would it be?
Frankly, I would not use super-powers as they have an impact to our spiritual development: If I would have one, the chances are high to be proud of it and pride is something close to ego… If I would have a super-power from the beginning on, I would ask God to keep it in reserve for me and not use it…

8.) If you could attend any event what would it be?
I would like to observe the lives of all competent Masters coming into our world – and to learn from them directly how they handle situations, even difficult ones.

9.) If you could be someone or something for a day what or who would it be?Personified love and bring love into the hearts of every person in the world.

10.) If you could meet anyone in the world who would it be?
Manifested Christ-power, Guru-power, Master-power, God-power – Kabir, Sant Kirpal Singh

11.) If you could travel back in time, which year would you visit and why?
I would travel back to the time when the pyramids were built – how did they build them, how was it possible when mathematical precision was required, even to bring in such a condition that all was for example oriented towards the stars “Orion” without knowing mathematical sizes as Pi and golden cut?

My Questions:

1.) What kind of hobbies you have got?
2.) What is most important for you?
3.) How can we achieve harmony between nations and people?
4.) What kind of improvements you suggest for your our society?
5.) What is your biggest wish?
6.) What was your biggest mistake in your life?
7.) If you could bring in a new field of lesson in school-programm, what would it be?
8.) How to stop poverty in the world?
9.) Your most interesting book?
10.) What is the meaning of friendship for you?
11.) Whhat means for you: “Man know thyself”?

My nominations are:

1.) In a love world
2.) Tapasi
3.) Maysa Rose
4.) Lori
5.) Linda
6.) Monica LFTD
7.) safira’s journey
8.) risenfaithministries
9.) Dela
10.) Mirissa D. Price
11.) Eliza

Moments of life

Moments of life

Moments engraved
On timeless paper
Squeeze the life
Out of the moment
Solidify in the time
Painted in eternity

Life rushes forward
Without past, future
Lives in the very moment
Loses in time
Sounds in echos
Lived-loved glance

Remains back
In fixed expressions
Touches only the present
In shadowy memories
What once used to be alive
Now lies dead, a copied something

Accumulated and beaded life
Supplied by space and time
The moment does not stay
Devides in silent progress
Rising from the past and future
Free from time and space

Human bridges

Human bridges

Let us build bridges
From religion to religion
Mutually bridges
Leading to God

No bridges
Of hate and violence
But bridges
Of loving essence

Bridges, which connect
Which do not seperate
The scaffold of humanity
Turning hate into love

Let us build bridges
Create brotherly love
Broaden our horizons
Leaving no wounds

As we all sit in the same boat
Are not black or white
Are connected lights
Drops of the Ocean Unity

Stale words

Stale words

How many times it happens
That we deceive ourselves
We identify us with mere words
Without really knowing,
Practically living them

To make us better
Compared with other?
To demonstrate knowledge?
Or to make a show
In front of us?
Or do we just run after
What is in fashion?…

We try to justify it
With some book-reading
And are even proud of it…

However, when reading
A book about water
We cannot squeeze the water
Out of it – not even one drop…

Kirpal Sagar, a place for the whole mankind

Kirpal Sagar, a unique place in the world

More information about Kirpal Sagar, a place for the whole mankind, for all world-religions (peacefully under one roof), a place of service to man, to help the poor and needy people, a place to become a real man, to develop spiritually.

Kirpal Sagar:

Sant Kirpal Singh – His life and mission:

Teachings of Sant Kirpal Singh:

More information about Unity of Man:

Everything belongs to God

Everything belongs to Him

When we belong to God
Then all things belong to Him
Which “belong” to us

Even our body, mind and soul
Belongs to Him
Is part of His creation

As He is One
And nothing exists
Without Him

So we are just administrators
Of everything He has given us:
Lent life

So we are and are not
At the same time
Depending on our point of view…

Should not we then
Become more humble?
Instead of saying: “I” and “mine”?…

Justified judging – mission impossible

Justified judging – mission impossible

Justice and injustice
Are subject to sympathy and antipathy

To be without prejudice
When judging a man
Is not possible
Because we are not within the
Causal effects and causes
Of a person we judge and condemn
As we do not live the life
What another man lives

We have only
The tiny life excerpt
of one we judge
Not his overall view

However, we judge and condemn
As if we knew – everything
about that man
