The science of the soul (part 1)

Spirit or soul

What is soul?

The soul is a ray of His (God’s) thought. Soul is a ray of His wish. The soul felt its identity when it was separated from the ocean – the ocean of consciousness, and for that it had to assume different forms. It bears the physical, astral and causal body and is living in the material world, in the material nature.

Who knows, “I am the soul”?

This awakening and right understanding came out of its own self, from the soul, and it could know that it has to go somewhere, but it is tied in the body with mind and matter and cannot get out of it. However, the link is there. No one can separate the link from the origin.

The thought of that power awakens the soul.

You know, as the clouds burst in the skies and it rains on the earth, so does it happen with the soul. When the thought of that power, which is within vibrates, it awakens the soul in the body. The soul is not satisfied in this human body. The greatest help we can give is the help to the soul. It is the greatest selfless service, the service to our own self.

The Masterpower reminds us, “You are the spirit, you are the soul.” Man is the first creation of His thought. Everything else came afterwards.

The ocean lives in the fish

It is our ignorance that we think the fish lives in the ocean. That power is innate in the soul and due to Him we know that we are of the same essence as that of God. So the ocean lives in the fish and not the fish in the ocean. If we know that, we are nearer to the goal.

The science of the soul – (Part 1)

The whole text can be read here:

With due deference to the scientific progress, man has ignored the most vital part of his life – the active life-principle in him, the soul, the very essence of life, or spark from the all-consciousness, an unseen and invisible power at the back of all creation. The Masters of the mystic science have been deeply engaged with the development of this mysterious power called life, and the results of their experiments are recorded in the form of various scriptures of the world. This sacred literature, in spite of the apparent diversities, reveals a marvelous uniformity at the core – a basic unity testifying oneness of the source – the immutable radiance of the divinity.

The Master-souls have come time and time again to grace this earth for the humanity’s spiritual enlightenment. They have left behind for our guidance the precious records of what they experienced within.

Ever since the first flicker of life on earth, man has been mightily engaged in search of happiness. He has made a tremendous progress in all walks of life. Take, for example, physical research. Many wonderful sciences have come to light: Unani system of medicine, Ayurvedic system of cure, Allopathy, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, and the like. All of them aim at the smooth working of the physical body. Surgery has progressed to an extent unknown before – the finest organ of the human body can now be replaced or transplanted from one to another. Similarly, man has taken long strides in the field of intellect. Man has not only conquered the forces of nature, but has pressed them into his service. You can hear and see a person from thousands of miles afar with the aid of a wireless set and a television. Man is now trying to probe into the mysteries of space and establish interplanetary relations. All these are the miracles of the scientific mind.

It is due to the lack of practical persons well versed in Paravidya, or the science of the beyond, that we are offered shadowy rites and rituals, symbolic of the great truth bubbling with life. So many faiths and isms fail to offer us a perfect solution of the problem of life. The maximum that priest craft can offer is a certain belief in the goodness to come in the distant future. Thus, most of the people devoted to the so-called spiritual enlightenment remain in their water-tight compartments, make-belief of religious affiliations, following a code of set principles with the hope that all this will ultimately lead to liberation.

All the established religious orders have their origin in some Master in the past, who in his own good time guided the people to a higher purpose of life – the spiritual perfection. Every flow is followed by an ebb in the affairs of man. To err is human and people generally relax into ignorance with the passage of time. The merciful providence, however, in the fullness of time, provides the world with the means of regeneration. Another prophet, a new messiah, comes on the scene to fan into flames the dying embers and tries to knit all his children into silken bonds of world fellowship.

Tears of the creation

Glance into the abyss
Birth of worlds
Crystalline creations
Echo in the very moment

Agitated Being
Break in experience
Life in facets
Opened space

Timeless clouds
Are passing by
Torrent of life
Raining seed

Observer at the edge
Of time and space
Flow of reflections
Into eternity

Moments merging together
Receive happiness/misery
Break of the Being
Symbiosis of laughing/crying

Quote: God is His own Devotee and Master at the same time

On the photo: Sant Kirpal Singh Ji

Kabir (Hindi: कबीर, IAST: Kabīr was a 15th-century Indian mystic poet and Saint, whose writings influenced Hinduism’s Bhakti movement and his verses are found in Sikhism’s scripture Adi Granth. His early life was in a Muslim family, but he was strongly influenced by his teacher, the Hindu bhakti leader Ramananda. He is also called the Father of spirituality as He came in all four yugas

Kabir Sahib tells His own story when He says, “I came in all four ages – in Satyug (Golden Age) my name was Satsukrat, in Tretayug (Silver Age) my name was Karunamae. When I came in Dvarparyug (Copper Age) my name was Maninder, in Kalyug (Iron Age) my name is Kabir.” In all four Ages He told the people of Naam’s greatness.

Two very interesting spiritual books by Kabir I would like to recommend:  The Anurag Sagar of Kabir and the Dialogues of  Kabir – For those being more interlectual and interested in spirituality, these are just the right books…

Back to the roots

Transportation
From heart to body
Roots in the light
Colour of a rainbow
Penetrating
Illuminating
All corners
Of our being

Heart drinks
Golden light
Enfolding
Divine petals
Source of beauty
Dance beyond time
Transformation
In deep silence

Sunlight returns home
With no words
In unity, oneness
Voice of the light
Flowing with tears
Into the ocean
Of all-embracing love

Rising above body-consciousness… – Quote by Sant Kirpal Singh

A realized man is one who has already solved the mystery of this life. He can give you a demonstration about how to rise above body-consciousness and how to silence the senses, mind, and intellect. When these sensory powers are put to rest, the soul is able to rise up and with the grace of the Guru, she gets united with the Over-Soul. If you recognize yourselves, your entire angle will change as well as your attitude to life, you then will recognize who your lifelong comrade really is and who controls the machine of the body – the same power that controls the entire creation.

Sant Kirpal Singh Ji

We are…

We are like streets:
Crossing each other

Like mountains, valleys:
Kissing the sky

We are like seas:
Wobbling on waves

Are like flowers:
Blossom and wither

Are like clouds:
Passing by time and space

We are like suns:
Giving light and warmth

Like nights:
Dark and bizarre

Are like fish:
Swimming in water, searching for it

We are like birds:
Screeching through universes

Are death and life:
Wandering Eternity

Are golden stars:
Dream and reality

Are a dream within a dream:
Yearning for awakening

Are united souls:
In the Ether of love and happiness

Have Forgotten our light…

A cosmic poem

Endless kalaidoscops
As manifested masks
In fire, water, air and earth
Being in the making –
An unchanged change

Time carries space
And space time
Dream of divinity
Silence, eternity
Gateway to being, becoming

Everything rests in itself:
Beginning – without beginning
Life in death
And death in life
Immovable Becoming

Silence speaks
With light
As a free spirit
Breaking through time and space
All and nothing

All is being and nothing
Conscious Light
Blowing Stardust
Of love and life
A cosmic poem

Faith and Chaos

All is faith, belief
In different things
From different roots
Different points of views

Many believe in God
Others in chaos, chance

To deny God means
To claim to know everything
All causes and effects
To be “God himself ”
To be the “Whole One”
Even infinitiv “Whole One”
To say: There is no God…
– Is just another kind of belief

We believe in our intellect, mind
But is it really so trustworthy
As it likes to appear?
When it often changes its colours…
To become aware
That even our senses
Are kept in relativity

Is intellect the ABC
To explain everything?
But it fails to explain
What really life and death is

Utmost we can describe the world
And its functions
Do we describe an illusion
A cosmic dream?
Within the borders of names given?

We can deny everything
But we can also deny the denial…
And interlectually
We cannot explain everything…

So everyting is under the roof
Of believing, even non-believing

Trust in God gives us sense to our life
Otherwise leaves us in a state of Chaos
With no sense in it…

A logical way does make sense in a certain frame
But to explain the Chaos
With the logical Interllect
Which is reasoning on a “sense-line”
To deny there is a sense of life
To talk with a sense against the sense…
Is in contradiction to it.
To use the tool of sense
Against sense giving subjects

The only way out of this interllectual dilemma
Is – Spirituality: “Man know thyself”…
To dive into the depth of the Unknown
Wordless realms, into the Non-explainable
Boundless Unfathomable
United opposites…
To realize one’s own Self…

Pyramid of power and influence

Power, not sharing, destroys
Eats itself

Intelligence that annihilate life
Is soulless, cold

Experiments, without respect
Are abhorrent

Control that dominates
Is blind

Everything that hurts
Is thoughtless

Violence done to others
Has no compassion

Influence – self-loved
Feeds the ego

Life in this shadow
Has no sunshine, no life…

Dancing light

Light is dancing in my heart
Like diomonds glittering on waves
Eyes wander through galaxies
Inhale light

Affecting, touching
Essence of my being
Like billowy waves
In rushing waters

Bliss arises
Rays of love
Cosmic expansion
Kissing the universe

Suns invite for dancing
Lay their light in me
Whirl around mysteries
Lift them from the depth

Time sails by
With myriads of stars
Opens divine spaces
On the floor of eternity

Leaving a heart pondering
Anchored in love and light…
