Grown up with foe images
To stoke up hate and violence
Competition of good and bad
Of mutual menaces

Lies and propaganda
In the name of justice
Protecting people and country
To stir up conflicts

Who has an interest
To sow hostilities
That humans fight
Against each other?

Creating a devision
In one’s own head
A battlefield of oneself
A fire of the mind

Battles carried outside
Not knowing
That our biggest enemy
Lies inside in ourselves

Who or what obtains an advantage
Of this human weakness?

Do you know your “enemy”?

You speak of him
As if you know him
You fight against his emblems
Be it another religion
Be it another Nation

You too are wearing
Outer emblems
So are you therefore an enemy
Judged by others?
So who are you?

If you do not know him
How can he be your enemy?
Only because of propaganda
That others dictate to you
To whom you have a friendship with
Who should be your enemy

Such people hide their true motives
Behind flimsy reasons
They chase after phantoms
And call them their enemies

Symptoms are only these emblems
Not the cause

The cause is:
We are all human beings
Surely not enemies…

Everywhere we see fights
Brother against brother
Sister against siser
Family fights

Everywhere we see fights
People mark their rights
Fight for interests, religions
In thoughts, talks and actions

Parties are against parties
Political oponents, smarties
Groups against groups
Countries against countries

Cultures compare, measure, judge
Who is better who is worse
Attitude of arrogance, anti-humilation
Pride in fights

Where to find this evil behaviour?
In us, in each of us…
But mankind is one
Not yet done

Our fight should not be against others
Not against sisters and brothers
Each of us should fight
Own ego, mind – becoming love and light

Addressed to the warlord

Cruelly you kill people
Waging war against an “enemy”
Whom you have designated as your enemy
Hiding behind obscure reasons
Only to see your dream fulfilled
Through violence, threat, lust for power

If your people would suffer
In the same way
As you make your so-called enemy suffer
Would your anger become boundless?
Or would you finally begin to understand…?

Responsibility means:
To be aware of one’s own actions…
