Animalistic roots in us

We bear the seeds
Of good and evil in us
Rooted feelings
Eruptions, outbreaks
In all colours
Spectrum from anger to joy
Of happiness and sadness
Patterns of love and hate
In an alternating bath

Living blood
Pulsating in the roots
Intertwined arteries
Of fluctuating feelings
Thoughts that take shape
Reaction, perception of senses
Principle of cause and effect
Waves crashing down on us
Turning ourselves into waves

Who wins this game
Wins the life
Becomes a real human being…

Lost in arrogance

Good and evil kindled
Fire of the mind
Are we sitting in the front row
As the good guys, play the game
Justice: better and worse
A trick of cunning treachery
To reap advantages
Willing to die in this battle
As a slave of the mind

To measure ourselves in search of adversaries
Emerging as a winner
Judging, appraising
Scale of equality
Weighing in our favour
Without the host’s bill
Same gambling everywhere:
With haggling, bargaining
To place one’s own person
In the right light

Lost seems to be who wins
Who doesn’t respect himself anymore
Looking for money and power
To classify man, use man
As a means to an end
An operation without dignity
Compassion, humanity
As lost humility
Intoxication of one’s own arrogance…
