Lack of Determination

Whoever has his chair between two camps
Will neither know the one place
Nor the other one properly

He sits on the chair of indecision
Is neither here nor there at home…

Decision taken

A convinced person is bound
To his own conviction
Is rather choiceless

It may be good, it may be bad
However, often he is unable to listen…

Quote: “Love beautifies” – by Sant Kirpal Singh

Love beautifies everything
and if we learn to love everyone,
all our imperfections can be washed away,
especially by loving kind words.

Who is good?

Good is he
Who is only of some use
To others?

Behind judging there is always a motive…
Selfish evaluation…

Love for All

I am not a Christian, Muslim, Hindu,
Or Buddhist, Sikh, Taoist in particular
Nor do I represent any other religion
Isolated from the others
To separate me from other people
I am unity, belonging to the whole
The boat we all sit in
I am a Christian, Muslim, Hindu,
Buddhist, Sikh, Taoist
And other creeds at the same time
For we are all children
Of the One God
And not split into this and that
We are all this boat in Him

So let us remain in our respective religion
Become a true Christian, a true Moslem, a true Hindu
A true Buddhist, a true Sikh, a true Taoist, etc.
In other words: to become a true man
To rise above separation, dogmatism, fanatism
And live in Oneness and Unity with the One
Then all fights will cease and vanish
Love and respect will increase
And right understanding will grow
Among all people and peoples
To understand we are all One in Him

True love is to love His whole creation
Is service to man, service to God
Helping each other…

Because He is undivided love –
How can we separate this love into fragments…
Even our sun gives sunshine to everyone…

Sant Kirpal Singh’s Mission – Unity of Man

My dear friends,

I would like to share with you this video about Sant Kirpal Singh’s Mission.

How beautiful would our world be if we understand that we are all one, sitting in the same boat and that all problems can be overcome just by pure love and right understanding  (the love of the heart, not of the mind).

Let us put our hands and hearts together to bring a real change in the world.

Thank you, dear friends 🙂

May you all be blessed by God
Didi

There is a bridge

Nothing they know about each other
Life puts a fense between them

A full stomach speaks a different language
Than an empty one…

However, there is one food which does not differentiate:
Food for the soul, sunshine for everyone…

Fragmented dream

We are splinters
Of the time
Broken fragments
Of a mirror
Once as smooth as a lake
Leaving a trace
To the past
Spreading life behind
Detaching from moments
A trail of living stars
Scattered
Swimming in limited senses
Searching for what we are
Standing at the edge
Of the moment
Looking back in the abyss
The mystery of night
Seeing life fading away
Somewhere, elsewhere

Our boat rowing
Towards the horizon
Of a purple morning
Ahead
Collecting colours
In the breath of now
Reflected in fragments
Lost
Gathering life
In the vortex
Beyond time
To dream completion…

Quote: How to develop love for God or for the competent Master (mouth-piece of God) – By Sant Kirpal Singh Ji

Excerpt from the book: “Morning talks” – By Sant Kirpal Singh

Guru Har Govind said that whoever should recite from the Jap Ji with no other thought intervening during the time that the verse was being recited, would be given his heart’s desire. One man came forward and said that he would recite. He began reciting and just before he was nearing the end, he thought to himself, “I wonder what the Guru will give me?” He remembered the Arabian horse that had been given to the Guru and thought that it should be given to him. When he completed the recitation, the Guru ordered that the horse be given to him. He then turned to the man and said, “You poor fellow, you did not know what I was going to give you . I was going to give you my very own place.” So it is not for you to judge things and request what you want, but it is for Him to see what is really in your best interests. How can you develop love? First, just develop those attributes which are in the Master. If He is a good painter, then develop painting. If He is a good singer, then develop singing. Our Master used to have wells dug for the good of the people at large. So those people than began to dig wells for Him and He was pleased. He wanted selfless servants who would never utter any word to Him about what they were doing for the Master. He was a very plain spoken man. Those who went to Him and said, “Master, I have committed this or that sin,” He would say, “All right,” and forgive them. But those who concealed their shortcomings from Him would lose out. When we go to the Master, we simply think that He does not know anything. But at the heart of hearts He knows what you say. As I was telling you yesterday, just like something in a glass jar, He sees what is in us. Even if you try to conceal it, He still sees. So we should go to the Master with very clean hearts, with love for Him, with all due deference for Him. Then naturally, He will give His own Self to you. So this is how we can develop love for the Master, for the God in Him. The attributes that He has developed in Him, you should try and develop in you. What are they? He wants love, no show, strict obedience to what He says. Once He says something, obey Him. Obey Him literally. While developing these things you will all the time be having the sweet remembrance of the Master within and also outwardly. It is for the Master to see what He has to give. He has come only to give Life. He has no other business. He is Life, Light and Love. He can give you these qualities only when you have become receptive and there is nothing that stands between you and Him. The attributes of God are reflected in Him. If you just adopt those attributes in your own life, then you will be loved by the Master and by the God in Him. As Christ said, “Those who love me, will be loved by my Father, and whom my Father loves, I manifest myself to him”. All Masters have said the same thing.

The perennial nagger

His characteristics:
He knows everything better
Criticizes everything
Knows an answer to all questions
Speaks ill of others
To take a bath in the limelight
His hobbies:
He judges and condemns

Spares himself
Without nagging
Because he is not aware
Of himself and his doings

May he find the road of life
In humbleness and respect…

Touch of eternity

Cosmic winds
Touch of eternity
Coat of time
Contractions of joy and grief

Sliding seconds
From moment to moment
Breathing, weaving life
Promise of happiness

Secret silence
Inaudibly singing
Dancing naked
Penetrating the heart

Thoughts on the run
Seek refuge
Pulsate and tremble
Want to rise up

Touched depth
Whispers in echoes
Spirit anchored in causes
Birth of the hour

Light in fraction
Smell of a dream
Derailed time
A touch of eternity

Quote: An example of true love – told by Sant Kirpal Singh

Excerpt from the book: “Morning talks” by Sant Kirpal Singh Ji

Lord Rama was exiled for fourteen years, and one woman called Shivri, who was living in the wilderness to where Lord Rama was exiled, heard that he was coming. She thought to herself that he would be coming bare footed and that the thorns would prick his feet. So she began clearing the way of all thorns. Love is developed not necessarily by seeing, but also by hearing. She also wondered what she would offer him to eat. In the wilderness there wasn’t much, only berries. So she started picking the berries, tasted each one of them, and kept only the sweet berries. There were also some great yogis living in the wilderness but Lord Rama never went to them first. He went to Shivri, who cleared the way for him so that the thorns would not hurt his feet, and who had kept the half eaten berries only for the sake of knowing those which were sweet and those which were sour. So love knows no law. After Rama had been to Shivri, he went to visit the yogis. There happened to be a pond where the yogis lived which was full of insects and the yogis asked Lord Rama to wash his feet in the pond, so that the insects would be cleared out. Lord Rama declined and said, “No, you are great yogis, it is better if you wash your feet in the pond, and it will then be cleared.” All of the yogis put their wash water into the pond but it was not cleared of the insects. The yogis then said, “You are Lord Rama, if you wash your feet in the pond it will surely be cleared.” “All right,” said Lord Rama, “We’ll try it.” He washed his feet in the pond but it still was not cleared. Lord Rama then told the yogis to wash the feet of Shivri (whom they disliked) and when they washed her feet and put the wash water into the pond, it was cleared. Those who love God, love the Master, the God in Him of course. It is not matter of show. That very power is within you and knows every act of yours, what you are doing and why. He knows the very trend of your thoughts. Love knows no show. Love knows service and sacrifice. The outward symbol of love is a sweet tongue, imbued with humility. When you have developed that love, what should you do? You must have patience, perseverance and go on with it. Just like a moth which burns itself on the flame of a candle but never makes any sound. So those who want to love God should not care for their name or fame, honour, this or that thing. They should leave every greatness that they have got physically outside, and lay down at His feet. If they lose their life in sacrifice, even then they won’t mention it. So this is a very delicate question, I would say. Those who have love for God, or the God-in-man, well, this is a relation between you and the God in Him and nobody else. You have to develop it. For that you must have perseverance. It takes time. The work of the servant is to do work, that’s all. It is for the Master to see what He has to give to him.

Gate to a new dawn

Scared time
Wounds in the night
Bleeding past
With little light

Searching for happiness
Peaceful understanding
Living dreams
Side by side

Forward in looking
To feel the freedom
In the presence
In deep thankfulness

Thirst in the desert
For drops of love
Ready to still a heart
In the dawn of light

Experiences infuse consciousness

We must have fallen down first
Before we know what pain means
But often it’s too late
To repair a situation

Next time we may do better

Everyone must learn from own mistakes…

Self-cheating

We just want to hear
What we like
Any truth that is contrary to us
We sweep under the carpet

Are we afraid
That our innermost is discovered?

Are we anxious
That the truth harms others?

Are we frightened
That we lose appreciation?

Are we scared
That our ego is losing something?

It is an illusory world
That we are building
Leading us to dependency
On the opinions of others…

How much honesty towards ourselves do we have?…

DidiArtist, 20.10.2019

We have forgotten what we really are

We’re not the body
Not man, not woman
Not old, not young
Are a smile of the heart
Are soul, drops of light
In the sea of light

Move the body
Like a puppet
Are the vital force
In this house
Are space-ships
Hurrying through the time

We are consciousness
Alive in the moment
Are eternal in the being
Wandering through illusions
Veils of dual worlds
Are cosmic breath

Breathe eternity…

Deceived and fooled

You led me to the market of the world
Bazaar of trade and desires
You showed me treasures
Beauties, attractions

No breath without show
Attention without direction
I got stuck in my senses
Deceived by the splendour of the world

You came with promises
To find everlasting happiness
But your happiness is bound
At the post of time

Everything passes like sand blown away
And you still say:
This is my home, my wealth of the world
Yes, it is your house, built on sand

You pretend: eternal happiness
Eternal home that falls apart in your hands
Breaks to empty illusions
You deceive, seduce, kidnap

The truth is not outside
It is within me
That you trample all over
With lies besmeared

You live for my death
Though you get all the strength from me
You go the way out
And not the way in

You are my constant companion
Shadow of my light
You control, you direct
Set directions

Time to change roles
Since you are a bad master
But a good servant
So follow me, my mind…

Playground of give and take

Loaded with presents and debts
Man lands in the market world
Bazaar of give and take
Old meets old
Giving hands
Open hands
In exchange
Known faces appear
Join the market
Endless rows of stands
To sell and buy
To lose and find
Business between man and man

Many get “richer”
Become more and more overloaded
Create new debts
While few empty their bags
Pay their bills
Gain rich emptiness
Close old wounds
Go Home smilingly
With empty hands…
