Man – like a chameleon

What colours do we adopt?

The colour of pride?
Of happiness?
Of love?
Of hate?
Of humbleness?
Of egotism?
Of peace?
Of anger?
Of compassion?
Of sexual desires?
Of unattachment?
Of dependence?
Of greed?
Of independence?
Of darkness?
The colour of light?

We adopt just this colour
According to the reaction of our mind…

However, we are not mind and body
We are a collective consciousness
Drop of the Ocean beyond beginning and end
Connected to each other in this “higher Self”

Colour of life and light

Language of the heart

Is understood by everyone
Doesn’t need words
Memories return
Wake up feelings
On the grave
Of burried times
Bridge of past till now
Heart is beating
Communicating
Releasing a smile
Into the presence
Thankfulness is there
Nothing forgotten
Embraced moments
Love alive

Voiceless meeting

Eyes whisper the language
Of feelings, temperature
Exchange wordlessly
Vibrate and sing

Meeting within the gaze
Approach and leave
Attract, repel each other
Send and receive

Throw light and shadow at each other
Search themselves in contact
To find: cordiality, friendliness
Between action and reaction

Dance in invisible words
In the rhythm of the eyesight
Give themselves away, reflect
Love each other in happiness

High time

Let us bury the fear of each other
Let us find each other
Let us build trust and confidence
Let love take a seat in our hearts and minds
Let us help each other
Let us overcome differences, all problems
Let us create thoughts of a positive nature
Let us stretch out our hands
Let us build a world of peace and happiness
Let us open our hearts:
Policy of love
Religion of love
Justice of love
Togetherness of love
Oneness of love
Humanity of love

Let our children say:
We have made it…

About Unity of Man

Dear friends,

Today we learn something about Unity of Man, its aims, founders and headquaters.
Peace and harmony in your heart.
Didi

Unity of Man is working as a spiritual, cultural and charitable non-profit-organization

The movement was brought into being by Sant Kirpal Singh who taught the ancient path of self-knowledge and God-knowledge and was worldwide esteemed for His untiring commitment to create a spirit of brotherhood and peace. In 1974, Sant Kirpal Singh convened the first “World Conference on the Unity of Man” in Delhi. This impressive conference became the starting point of the movement which was carried on by Dr Harbhajan Singh and his wife, Mrs Surinder Kaur.

The name Unity of Man refers to the inner unity of all life. Just like the sun and the sunrays are in perfect union, the same way God is not separate from His souls. We are drops of the ocean of all consciousness, whom we worship as the same God, calling Him by different names. The human body is the true temple of God, and the human form provides us with a golden opportunity to realize Him.

AIMS

To fill the human heart with compassion, mercy and universal love,
which should radiate to all countries, nations and peoples of the world.
To make a true religion of the heart as the ruling factor in one’s life.

To enable each one to love God, love all, serve all,
and have respect for all, as God is immanent in all forms.

My goal is that of oneness. I spread the message of oneness
in life and living. This is the way to peace on earth.
This is the mission of my life, and I pray that it may be fulfilled.

Sant Kirpal Singh

In this spirit Unity of Man is committed:

– to encourage man to discover his higher self and to live a conscious life

– to remind that spirituality concerns the direct link between soul and God and is the base for a peaceful co-existence of mankind

– to explain that spiritual achievement has nothing to do with occultism, supernatural powers and esoteric practices which on the contrary are hindrances on the way

– to further religious tolerance by pointing out the common spiritual essence in the core of all religions

– to revive basic ethical values supporting humanity, solidarity and tolerance among individuals and nations

– to support people in need, following the motto ‘help for self-help’ – at present focused on the area of northern India

FOUNDERS

The movement Unity of Man was initiated by Sant Kirpal Singh
and thereafter managed by Dr Harbhajan Singh and Mrs Surinder Kaur

SANT KIRPAL SINGH

Words cannot do justice to a personality like Sant Kirpal Singh. Esteemed worldwide as a great Saint of the 20th century, embodiment of kindness and mercy, He gave out the living knowledge of the true nature of man whose aim is to return to his origin – God, and emphasised the value and dignity of each individual as a conscious being or soul. Sant Kirpal Singh did not teach any new faith. He treated the subject of spirituality as a science.

DR HARBHAJAN SINGH

Commissioned by Sant Kirpal Singh to carry on His work, Dr Harbhajan Singh dedicated his whole life to the service of humanity and built up the Project Kirpal Sagar. His example inspired others to lead a life with higher values. Born on 10 December 1932 in Laaylpur, situated at that time in India before the partition, Dr Harbhajan Singh met Sant Kirpal Singh in 1961, after years of intense search.

MRS SURINDER KAUR

Mrs Surinder Kaur, president of Unity of Man India, was born in 1940 in the village of Bhawalpur, where she grew up with two brothers and three sisters. The name of her mother was Paronie Kaur, and that of her father, Katar Singh. He was a freedom-fighter, a courageous and broad-hearted character, who supported the needy with the means he was able to save when they had to flee to eastern Punjab during the partition of India.

Story: – Guru Nanak – Told by Dr. Harbhajan Singh

When Guru Nanak went to Multan, a city which was full of Saints, many, many Saints there, so-called Saints. Guru Nanak went there. Others also went there, but Guru Nanak went for a special purpose. His purpose was to realise them the very truth for what purpose they were coming. So when Guru Nanak went there, they offered one cup full of milk up to the brim. Guru Nanak didn’t take it, He put the flower on it and sent it back. It meant like this: “I have come over here, but will live here like a flower – I will not disturb, I will give the smell – my purpose is different.” …

Splitting dream

Without the night
Day cannot be

Without sorrows
Happiness is not felt

Without storms and clouds
Light cannot be appreciated

Without failures
Victories lose meaning

Without death
There is no life

In the two hidden
There is ONE:

No life, no death
No Ups, no downs

No No, No Yes
No time, no space

Just One in All
And All in One

While we dream time and space
Touching opposites

While we are the dream of the One
Splitting into fragments…

Story: In sweet remembrance of God – by Sant Kirpal Singh

This is an excerpt from the book “Morning Talks” written by Sant Kirpal Singh Ji

The whole book can be read here:
http://www.kirpalsingh-teachings.org/en/books-sant-kirpal-singh/morning-talks.html

A Mohammedan saint was asked whether he first saw God and then said his prayers or whether God came after his prayers. He said, “God comes first, then I pray.” He was asked how he knew that God had come. He said, “When my heart becomes full, my eyes begin to shed tears. I then think that He has come, that He is dragging me from within, then I pray.”

Unequal Perspectives

Only who experiences the same
Or things similar
Is able to understand
Able to know

How many mistakes, misunderstandings arise
from the inequality of experiences?
How many prejudices are fired off
Without a common foundation?

Inner experiences
Cannot be shared
Nor discussed or transferred
They must be lived through…

Outer and inner knowledge

Outer knowledge fills us
With learnt and book knowledge
Is empty knowledge
Of no use for the soul

Outer knowledge and longing for God
May be the bridge to the shore soul
Once entered this knowledge turns
Loses, fades into emptiness

Inner knowledge empties us from us
Allows God to sit in us
In an empty vessel
The true knowledge of the soul

I or ego disappears
Transcendents, rises beyond
Mind and borders
Takes “shape” in All and Nothing

Inner knowledge is Oneness
Outer knowledge – separation
Outside overloaded
Inside empty…

Nothing is All
And All is Nothing…

My world I dream of

Nations with no borders
Harmony between them
Religions come together
United in God
Brothers and sisters
In one voice
Interchanging help

Wappons burried
No more worried
Sun of unity
Speaking hearts
Hand in hand
Light in words
Truth in deeds

Happiness in every eye
Anchored humanity
In all hearts
Free from violence
From hate and anger
Lust and ego
Detached from wishes

Hand in hand
Bondage of love
Between nations, peoples
Cultures and people
No more wars
Not in words
Not in deeds
But lovely thoughts

United – One
Brotherhood
Humanity
Living truth
Living love
In every house

Body and spirit

Years go by
One after another
Body wilted
Split into
Folds and wrinkles
While beauty arises
A flower of wisdom
Inner grandeur
Garlands around your heart

Aged eyes full of love
Spreading light around
Reveal intensive life
Experienced in ups and downs
Express a winning smile
Timeless sunshine
Rays that say Yes
To the very moment

Body in the wake of time
Blossoms from outside
To inside
Gives birth
To many children:
Happiness, contentment
Embracing love, witty wisdom
Flowing in the veins of your spirit

Sharing love unconditionally
Love that has no age…

Holographic world

A crack through dream and reality
Separates day from night
Good and evil, light from darkness
Leaves traces of opposites

Devides life and death
Along time and space
Mirrors in itself:
Birth of endless creations

Fragmented perception
A permanent break in being
Between All and Nothing:
Walking time pearls in eternity

Galaxies expand
Exhale stardust
Devine breath:
Heart-beat of the universe

Devoured in living dreams
As sparkling parallel-worlds
Bubbles of spaces
Appearing out of nothing

Stars sing a song
Song of unity
Connected with everything and nothing
Beyond all cosmic cracks…

Dream of life

Empty pages fill up
With life and strength
Words form
Thoughts flow

Presence, a spinning thread
In the seal of light and shadow
Gives expression
Projects reality

Looking holds on to itself
Observes how life writes:
Performance, human theatre
Morphing scenery

Ears hear movements
The echo, the trace
The noise of blood
On white paper

Sound and beat of the heart
Make features visible
Dream of Yes and No
Jerk through time and space

Empty pages fill up
In the deep moment
Drawing boundaries
Turning life into duality…

Do not think evil of others – by Sant Kirpal Singh

An excerpt from the book: “Morning Talks” – by Sant Kirpal Singh

Once Akbar, who was a great Emperor of India, was told by his minister that thoughts were very potent and that great care should be taken in what we think of others. Akbar asked his minister how he knew this. The minister said, “All right, I will give you a concrete example. Let us go outside.” So both of them went outside and they saw one man coming towards them at a distance of a few furlongs. The minister said to the king, “Look here, just think something about this man in your mind and when he comes near, you might ask him what crossed his mind at that time. You are only to look and think.” The king thought in his mind that this man should be shot. The man approached the king and the king asked him, “When you saw my face, what thoughts crossed your mind?” The man said, “Emperor, excuse me, but I thought that I should beat you with my fists and break your head.” So thoughts are very potent. If you think evil of others, the other man will react. You should be careful how you speak to people. If you speak ill to another and say “You are a fool” and things like that, or if somebody calls you a name and you react in the same way, what is the result? There will be a flare-up. A man calls you once, twice and that results in a fight. This is by words, their very root is the thought. A man speaks out of the abundance of his heart. Whatever is lying there, those things take the form of words, then words lead to fighting. So don’t hurt the feelings of others, in thought, word or deed.

Believe in the heart

Tears in my heart,
Reflecting in the sun,
Smoothly carry life.
Flowers in the air,
Coloured in the breath.

You, the light ,
The path in moments,
Hand in hand,
To follow heart,
A rose of my life,
A dance of souls

Fountain of my happiness,
Life in my life,
How quickly a man can fall
On the edge of a mountain
With the wrong choice
That mind has suggested

Tears in my heart,
Listen to it,
And truth reveals;
For mind is blind,
Lost in the moment.

Listen to your heart
And feel the true colours
The rainbow touching you
Believe in the heart
Not in the mind
A fool of black and white

Shadow government

They act from the dark
Are puppet masters
Make us move hands and legs
Put words in our mouth

They control peoples and countries
Are in control of food
Of medicine we take
Direct media to influence man

They prevent free energy
From establishing in our society
Killed and threatened inventors
Want mankind drastically reduced

Secretes behind our backs
Born in the night
By the hand of negativity
To press us in cages

From the shadow they sting
And hide in the night
They fear, man can bring
A change to the world, some golden light

Darkness is their place
To spin their thread
A cobweb round the world’s face
Confusion, doubts to spread

Their nights are counted
The world will see new days
Where all their dark doings
Will come to light…
