What is the purpose of life?

Is the purpose of life to accumulate money and things?
To raise a family?
To run after pleasures?
To be as happy as possible?
To fulfil one’s own desires?
To build and follow habits?
To be after acknowledgment and reputation?
Set one’s own memorial?
To repeat this all?
To pass it on to one’s children?

Or is it:
To rise above expectations and desires?
To learn from mistakes?
To overcome one’s own ego?
To serve God and people?
To focus on Oneness as everything is connected?
To become light and love?
To become heart and human?
To connect with eternity?
To awaken from a worldly sleep?
To live and die for God?
To be absorbed in His will?

What is your purpose of life?

Possessed by Possession

Thousands of people sit
On their money and possessions
They do not know
That their possessions possess them

They are slaves to their greed
Sharing only with a few
Giving alms
To ease their conscience
To deceive themselves

They are the rich ones
Those who feed on the poor
Who suck the blood from them
Who know no shame

Their souls are bound by it
Their hearts have lost sight…

A change is needed

As long as the world is divided
Harmony cannot reign
It cannot be spoken in one opinion

As long as there are screamers in the world
Who call attention to themselves
There can be no reasonable politics

As long as people divide each other
Not realizing that we are all one big family
There can be no peace in the world

Until we learn to be one
To love and trust one another
Money, hatred, and envy will continue to rule the world

As long as the understanding of oneness does not blossom in our hearts
The cracks in the world will widen, problems will grow
Deep insight cannot shake us awake

May we all awaken before it is too late….

The other side of power and money

It is a shame that a few people
Have control over many people
They cannot even control themselves
Are in love with themselves
Love leadership, money, and prestige
Their greed for power drives them
Makes them blind to:
Modesty, humility, genuine sharing with others
They do not know that it is they
Who are not admirable
Are blind in their actions
Are prisoners of their own greed

An honest and loving heart cannot be bought
Through power and money…
