Anger and fury

Anger controls
Controls thoughts
Deeds, words
Sets on fire

Anger closes eyes
Sees things
In blindly rage
That are not there

In Anger – house in flames
Attempt to extinguish them
With burning oily thoughts, words
Throwing them wildly around
When pride feels offended

Intention to hurt, to react
To judge in conflicts – blindly, unfairly
Not knowing the one
Who should be hurt

Anger, a game: eye for eye
Tooth for tooth
Which should not have
Our participation

To stay calm is the answer
To be untouched, unaffected
Not willing to fall for the trap
In this game of mind

Opposite: When someone throws words
Let us send back: Thoughts
Of compassion, of sympathy
Kindness, good wishes, of love

Selfish mind

If we are conscious
That God is everywhere
How can we hurt other people?
As in all people
This power is there too

We can only hide us from Him
When we are unconscious
When we ignore, hide Him in us
When we deceive ourselves
Play a game or make a show

So let us become conscious
Knowing that we are all one
That He is the One in all of us
Let us treat therefore with respect, love
As this is love and respect to God

From good thoughts
Good words and deeds will follow
On the foundation of honesty
Which is honesty towards God and Oneness
A tool to clean our impure mind…

Becoming conscious

If we are aware
That God is everywhere
How can we hurt other people?
As in all people
This power is there too

We can only hide us from Him
When we are unconscious, dyed in ego
Ignore, hide Him in us
When we deceive ourselves
Play a game or make a show

So let us become conscious
Knowing that we are all one
That He is the One in all of us
Let us treat therefore with respect, love
As this is love and respect to God

From good thoughts
Good words and deeds will follow
On the foundation of honesty
Which is honesty towards God and Oneness
A tool to clean our dirty mind…

Message of goodwill

Usually we have good thoughts for our dear ones
Let us widen our horzont
To give room for the whole world
For good thoughts, words and deeds to everyone

A message that should go
From heart to heart
Torchbearer of light
To bring love in every house

No more violent thoughts
No more harsh words
But kindness and love
Respect and goodwill

Or do we want to be a mirror
Of our bad thoughts?…

Kabir and King Ibrahim: story about ego/pride and humbleness

Story told by Sant Kirpal Singh in His book “The light of Kirpal”

Ibrahim was a Saint, he was a king who left his kingdom and came to Kabir, lived with Him for three, four years. He was quite obedient and did not ask for anything. Whatever was given to him he would eat. He would do whatever he was told to do, like a bought slave. So Loi, the mother of the house, told Kabir, “Well, he is quite ready, will You give him something now?” And Kabir told her, “No, his vessel is not yet ready.” She said, “What more is wanted? He is very obedient; he does not say anything; whatever you give him, he eats; he never grumbles.” “All right, tomorrow morning when he goes out of the door of the house, you put all of the refuse of the house into a basket and throw it over his head. Then, listen to what he says.” Next morning when Ibrahim went out of the house, Loi put all the house refuse over his head. Ibrahim said, “Now! Had this been Bokhara . . .” (He was the king of Bokhara, you see), “this would not have been.” His ego was still there . . . “I am a great man living at His door.” When she told Kabir, He said, “1 told you, his vessel is not yet ready.” Then some years passed. He remained there for more than ten years. Then one day Kabir said, “Now the vessel is ready.” Loi said, “There is no difference outwardly.” [Kabir:] “All right, tomorrow morning when he goes out, just throw all of the night waste over his head.” The next morning she did so. Ibrahim said, “God, I am worse than that.” And Kabir said, “Didn’t I tell you? He’s now ready, you see.”

Unity of Man – Sant Kirpal Singh

The intention of the movement Unity of Man is to inspire man by the ideal set by Sant Kirpal Singh:

Be good – Do good – Be one

It invites all to unite in order to find out about the spiritual base of human nature and to promote a spirit of oneness.

The name Unity of Man carries the core message of Sant Kirpal Singh:

This human birth is our chance to realize the great truth of the oneness of life
vibrating in the universe – Unity already exists, we only have forgotten it.

Respect for the whole creation and love and tolerance for each human being regardless of colour, creed or nationality are the practical shapes of this ideal.

There is one hope for the world, and this hope lies in the spiritual link from man to man and nation to nation. This genuine hope will bring us together.

The problems of the world are not of political, but of spiritual nature, so we have to find the solution on the spiritual level, on the level of consciousness.

The change will begin from man’s heart.

Turning into…

When someone talks badly about you
Talk nicely about him

When someone thinks badly of you
Think well of him

If someone accuses you of making mistakes.
Emphasize his good qualities

If someone hates you
Embrace him with love

When someone criticizes you
Praise him

When someone is angry with you
Show compassion

When someone appears to be your enemy,
Treat him like a friend

If someone hurts you
Have gratitude

This is how a stone is transformed
Into a heart… into humanity…

Our inner anchor should be:
Peace, balance, love, humility
Compassion, kindness, non-violence – ONENESS
