Conversation with God

God and I in space alone
and nobody else in view.
“And where are the people, O Lord,” I said,
“the earth below and the sky o’er head
and the dead whom once I knew?”

“That was a dream,” God smiled and said,
“A dream that seemed to be true.
There were no people, living or dead,
there was no earth, and no sky o’er head;
there was only Myself — in you.”

“Why do I feel no fear,” I asked,
“meeting You here this way?
For I have sinned I know full well–
and is there heaven, and is there hell,
and is this the Judgment Day?”

“Nay, those were but dreams,”
the Great God said,
“Dreams that have ceased to be.
There are no such things as fear or sin;
there is no you — you never have been–
there is nothing at all
but Me.”

For the sake of God’s love – by Sant Kirpal Singh

For the sake of God’s love, we love all people. We must love them without exception. If you do not love all people and claim to love God’s power, you are lying, you are not being true to yourself. He who is imbued with the color of the Master, the color of love, knows no hatred, he hates no one. He loves all people, regardless of what these people think and what their deeds and actions are. He knows: “My Father is in each one of us.” He sees that the Father dwells in everyone, so he loves everyone from the depths of his heart, not outwardly. What he says is free of duality. His words are full of meaning.

The other side of power and money

It is a shame that a few people
Have control over many people
They cannot even control themselves
Are in love with themselves
Love leadership, money, and prestige
Their greed for power drives them
Makes them blind to:
Modesty, humility, genuine sharing with others
They do not know that it is they
Who are not admirable
Are blind in their actions
Are prisoners of their own greed

An honest and loving heart cannot be bought
Through power and money…

We are blind towards ourselves

Would we see the mistakes we make
How many times a day would we have to apologise

Would we see why we do or say something
We would see our selfish motives

Would we see how we treat other people
Our pride in ourselves would leave us

Would we see how we treat ourselves
Our theatre towards ourselves would end

Would we see how we struggle to gain advantages
Our self-respect would be at rock bottom

Would we see what we are doing with our lives
Would we be ashamed to the core

Would we see where our attention goes
We would perceive wasted time

Would we see the meaning of our life
We would become a different person….

Leading People through Humanity

Is it not contradictory
To be rich and lead a nation?

One cannot lead people only through money
But through humanity…
