Silent thoughts of harmony

Every living person stands at the top
Of a great substructure
Of a great pyramid
Where life was passed on
Until it has reached us

Gratitude – we should have
Carry it in our hearts
Honor our ancestors
As torchbearers of life
Kindling fire, our life’s birth

Over countless pyramids, we all stand together
Are all rooted in each other
So let us share, shed this gratitude
From man to man
As brothers and sisters of life

Now we are these torchbearers
Planting the life forth
Put our hope there
That our children will live a life
In peace and harmony on this earth

May this gratitude rise in all hearts
And make us aware: We are all one
Are all one big family
Are not strangers to each other
Are born of the same substance

Forgotten what we are

 
 

 

Disembodied is our Home
There is some power in the body
That controls it
But we think
We are bodies
Are identified
With matter and dust
Buy dust and material
Through wishes, money
Matter to matter
Dust to dust
Purchased happiness
Accumulated power

Disembodied is our Home
As we are spirit and light
Conscious beings
Prisoners in the fog
Of mind and ego
With distracted attention
Have forgotten who we are
Lost our purpose of life
Are blind, outside and inside
Have eyes only for illusion
Are chess pieces on the battlefield
Of positive and negative forces

Are fighting against each other
And do not see the brotherhood
The light in every heart
The source of sunlight
Forgotten that we are one
Separated from light through darkness
May we become a lighthouse
For searchers of the truth
Out there on the dark sea
Showing the way to light with light

Consciousness, fire of right understanding
Torchbearers, igniting the light within the hearts…
