Every living creature has a helmsman inside
Who determines the direction,
Which function is used
Who controls the body
It is the mind that guides us
Has intentions, fulfils wishes
A ship swaying
On the ocean of life
The soul watches the goings-on
The voyage past cliffs and coasts
Through storms and shallow waters
How the ship conquers islands
When the journey ends along the horizon
Breaks the sail, the ship sinks
The helmsman plunges into the unknown
The soul, the captain, leaves the ship last
Becomes captain on a new ship
Again with a helmsman on board
A new journey begins
In the air a voice: Land in sight…
