God and I in space alone
and nobody else in view.
“And where are the people, O Lord,” I said,
“the earth below and the sky o’er head
and the dead whom once I knew?”
“That was a dream,” God smiled and said,
“A dream that seemed to be true.
There were no people, living or dead,
there was no earth, and no sky o’er head;
there was only Myself — in you.”
“Why do I feel no fear,” I asked,
“meeting You here this way?
For I have sinned I know full well–
and is there heaven, and is there hell,
and is this the Judgment Day?”
“Nay, those were but dreams,”
the Great God said,
“Dreams that have ceased to be.
There are no such things as fear or sin;
there is no you — you never have been–
there is nothing at all
but Me.”

Yes, my dear friend: think of Him and He is there, think He is away, away He is – so simple…
Much love to you 🙂

Yes Didi completely agree with your valuable words. Every morning is a surrender to Him 😊😊 😊😊 😊 and the whole day we need to invite Him in our fold.

Yes, dear Kamal – and He plays His song that has no end no begining in us continously – when listening with our inner ears – we may hear this song of etenity… – our ears must become His ears and our eyes His eyes and our hands His hands…
Thank you, my friend 🙂
Have a pleasant weekend 🙂

Stupendous words of truth and I completely agree with the poem. This is all a dream. We have never come from beginless beginning to endless end. He is the only one who plays this game in all of creation

I feel it too that life is just a dream – when we dream and awake we know it was a dream, but this kind of reality seems also to be a dream – we are not yet awake – awake as what? – awake in Him as Oneness (then we are no more existing, but still part in Him, the drop of the Ocean).
All what is good for you

I believe it could be something like that, like in the novel “Alice in Wonderland”. There are no rabbits, no Queen of Hearts, or the Cheshire cat, it was all just a dream, an imagination, illusion…

Yes, it is a very profound and wise poem explaining the One-ness of all that is, while we live in a dream that seems so real. You too my dear friend, big hugs and much love!

Welcome and thank you for reblogging, my dear friend Amira 🙂 – this is indeed a really great poem and it fully represents my thoughts – we are not existing, only One is existing – the ONE and dividing it: it is due to the angle of our mind…
Hugs and love to you
