Monsters

There really are monsters existing.
They look like humans,
but are pitch black
in their inner core.
Their hearts are made of stone.
They kill, they conquer
for the sake of power.
They are without conscience,
unscrupulously they pursue their goals,
hiding them behind self-brewed reasons,
to justify their black machinations.
