Conscience (consciousness in knowledge)

As long as we can hear that thin voice inside us
we can still be warned,
what is good and what is bad.
It is our conscience,
the voice of the soul.

But many have lost their conscience,
yet they still listen to inner voices,
the voices of their ego, their mind…
