Transformation

Hate cannot be eliminated by hate
Bloodshed not by bloodshed
Violence not by violence
Mind not through our mind
Inhumanity not through inhumanity

Only through forgiving and forgetting
By admitting that we are no better
That we are not flawless
Without hiding behind our mistakes
That makes us human

Through conscious recognition
That we are all one
That we are in a boat
That is made full of holes by wars
With the name Earth

We should remember
Who we are – human beings
Loving each other, not hating each other
Practicing humanity
Not inhumanity

We are Love, light, and life
Not hate, darkness, and death

May we remember
Who we really are…
