Within the centre of our being

Life has two sides:
Light and shadow.
Thoughts fluctuate between them,
oscillate between day and night.
One second we are bathing
in the sunlight,
in darkness in the next.

Thoughts drift like clouds
along the firmament of life,
constantly in flux, restless,
influenced by inside and outside,
a rollercoaster of emotions.

Our mind is behind it all
as the driving force,
strayed attention,
guided by the senses,
no standstill, only movement,
in constant change.

In silence, thoughts stop
to move up and down.
Attention focussed,
at the centre of our own being,
of His own Being,
of our own non-being,
where the light blossoms,
in the fragrance of divine vibrating music.

Identified with our reflection

Just as the light of the moon is an illusion
So we believe in our reflection,
but what we see is not reality,
it is only a reflection, a mirror image,
because seeing cannot see itself,
not with the outer eyes.

So we believe that we are the body,
which is nothing but a reflection,
have identified ourselves with it,
believe that the ego is us.

We are under control of this impression,
these deceptive senses,
while the soul watches in silence
and dances to the flute of the mind…

Two types of self-love

We say frivolously:
“We love ourselves.”
Unfortunately, this love remains limited,
it is not all-encompassing,
that includes all others,
integrates every form of creation,
it has its origin,
through our mind, our ego,
without really distinguishing.

If only one remains,
not to be loved,
this behaviour is
against the love for God,
who Himself dwells in His creation,
for love that differentiates
is not a true love.

The all-encompassing love is not limited to:
“We love ourselves”,
but is love for our Higher Self,
which has its seat in everything and everyone.
That is a huge difference,
does not originate from the ego,
but praises the God within us.

Crystal clear difference:
“We love ourselves”,
or: “We love our Self,
our Higher Self within us.”
