Mind and Soul

The soul unites,
is one with all souls

The mind is divided,
is alone, separated from all other minds.

The mind lives in the ego,
is self-orientated.

The soul is a ray
of the eternal sunlight.

The soul connects
humanity with humanity.

The mind destroys, lies, and deceives,
has a cold heart.

Soul and mind
in one body.

Soul has a future, not the mind…

Light and darkness

Is not seeing, light-seeing,
day-seeing, sunshine,
penetrating the darkness?

The soul dwells in the light,
but the mind dwells
in pitch darkness.

Dark is the fear therein,
blind on the paths
where abyss cries and shudders.

Night surrounds ignorance,
kidnaps the blind man,
robs him of his conscience.

Love is light,
lighthouse in the night,
harmony, self-resting.

But day-seeing without love
is blind seeing, aimless living.

True seeing – is true believing.

Often we follow
the customs of the majority,
like a sheep following the shepherd.
But is the truth with the majority?

We are like sheep
that run after wishes,
after people and things,
and so-called ideals.

What are we? Where do we stand?
Where is our truth?
Truth that is one with the One
that does not run after the majority.
