Like a sheep

Often we follow
the customs of the majority,
like a sheep following the shepherd.
But is the truth with the majority?

We are like sheep
that run after wishes,
after people and things,
and so-called ideals.

What are we? Where do we stand?
Where is our truth?
Truth that is one with the One
that does not run after the majority.

Permanent “Wanting to compete”

In everything that man does,
to bring in his life,
seems to be about the struggle:
In thought, word and deed.
As if he is constantly looking
for an opponent,
with whom he can measure himself.

A battle of good and evil,
of right and wrong,
of better and worse,
in which man takes on a role:
He considers himself
to be the measure of all things,
is better than others,
always wants victory
about the “peculiarities” of others.

When we finally stop doing this
and meet at eye level,
then the comparison stops,
the attitude of being better.

Our ego, our mind
will then become less.

Truth cannot disguise itself

As long as the world is ruled by mad people,
we know what the result will be: madness!

And what is madness?
To rule over others, over a nation
without being wise,
in the licentiousness of their egoistic minds,
not knowing themselves and others
but acting with malicious cunning,
to subjugate people to their will

As they think and act,
so it will be,
a reflection from inside to outside.

Truth shows how they are…

Unattached

If we accept the change,
it rolls off us,
like water on oily skin.

We are in this world,
but not from this world.

If we touch the change,
we get caught up in its maelstrom,
our mind becomes a chameleon,
in the imprint of our senses.

Unattached we are in the flow of God’s will…

Delusions of grandeur

Is like a flight
with the wings of madness,
wanting to dominate,
to control everything.

Every mountain also has a valley,
every person its own abyss.
