Obsticles on the path

Pride is a major obstacle
on the path to humility.

Only when we are humble and reverent
towards life, towards all of God’s creation,
do we merge into the great unity of oneness
with the help of God’s grace.

Path of the true Saints

The soul does not fight against people,
has no hatred for them,
does not exercise violence of its own accord,
she is one with God.

But the mind controls her,
receives life from her,
that is why the soul must suffer
for the outrages of the mind.

She pays bills upon bills,
until one day
has control over the mind,
over its thoughts, words and deeds.

This with the help of God’s grace,
until the wild beast is tamed,
so that the soul can travel back
to her true home, home eternal.
