Paragraph 2: If he is ever wrong,
then Paragraph 1 automatically comes into effect.

Beyond paragraphs:

The narcissist

A narcissist only has eyes
for him- or herself
and no ears
for others.

Characteristics of a narcissist

People who are in love with themselves,
often talk in extremes:
Either one side of the coin is beautiful
or it is extremely bad,
depending on praise and blame,
alternating in superlatives.

Boasting and showing off are superficial
to hide one’s own weaknesses.

They are blind and deaf to their own mistakes,
they only hear what they want to hear,
they only see what they want to see.

Ignoring truth

If one only speaks in superlatives,
one misses and speaks against the truth.

Self-glorification

Unfortunately, there are people among us
people who are so self-glorified
that they only see themselves.
We find them at all levels
within human society,
who pin this human weakness
as a badge on their chest.
They are so convinced of themselves,
that respect for others is lost,
always feel they are better than others.

They need to praise themselves
because they are basically afraid,
that they are worse than others
because they are comparing themselves
constantly with others,
telling themselves how great they are,
often speak in superlatives.

They are not prepared to make compromises,
to reach out to others,
because everything they do
they do out of their excessive egotism,
their pathological self-glorification.
