Mental disease

There are not only physical diseases
that are highly contagious,
also mental illnesses,
like a pandemic,
spreading throughout the world.

Those who carry this virus in themselves don’t realise it,
their behaviour is poisoned,
lose their power of discernment,
are very short-sighted,
in their thoughts, words and deeds,
who twist the truth,
convinced they are doing the right thing.

This disease is almost incurable,
for those who are affected,
can hardly get away from it.

The world needs wise leaders

More money and prestige
does not necessarily mean:
More wisdom, more leadership quality.
It often means the opposite,
by causing money and power to infect one’s head,
transforming the heart into ice and coldness,
expressing ruthlessness and arrogance.

A simple person with a heart
may well have more wisdom,
than a person with pockets full of money,
can understand people better
than those who look down on them from above,
thinking they are better than others,
exercise control over others,
humiliate and degrade others.

Wisdom means leading with humanity,
not acting like a tyrant,
Wisdom for the good of all,
not hiding in one’s own ego,
to share with the poor and needy,
to stand up for the weak with honour,
not behaving like an unbridled animal.

The world needs wise leaders.

Ego and heart

Anyone who favours egoism and selfishness
is an axe in the society
that splits the unity of man,
in a hierarchy of rich and poor,
dividing them into classes,
according to money, power, title, and prestige.

Is the one with more money in his pockets
thus inevitably a better person,
who has conquered a place in the society?

No, humanity is not measured
by wealth and power,
not by how big his ego is,
but by how big his heart is.

Hidden motives

Some use their anger for a fake rage
to cover their monstrous secrets
in the slipstream of their true reason
and bite like a snake.
