Breathing challenges

We breathe the air
of challenges, struggle,
want to measure ourselves
at almost any price,
balancing on the tightrope:
somewhere, nowhere,
striving for achievements,
strength and happiness.
To give us meaning
in this meaningless doing.
Climbing the ladder of power,
for money and prestige,
run over the heads of others
just to get further up,
up where the wind blows
of greed, lust and play
and call it our drive.

Everywhere this grimace flashes
as if programmed and ingrained,
beats us into this spell,
a hamster wheel of repetition
to forget our task:
who we really are
what we are
where we are going
why we are
where we come from
as prisoners of suggestion
under the influence
of proving, asserting ourselves.

It becomes quiet around us
when we leave this ground
and become what we really are.

Submissive supporters

They do it to reap the rewards
and avoid any disadvantages.
Even when the wind changes direction,
they change with it.
When lies are told,
they lie along with them,
just so they don’t have to give up
their advantages, power and prestige.
They have no control,
stand under dependency,
because they are being controlled.
Their fear of failure, disloyalty,
to be fired,
is greater than honour and honesty,
which they willingly sacrifice.
They serve their superiors,
come what may,
having lost their power of decision.
They play their role
in the field of humanity
rather poorly than well,
as mask wearers.

We find them in all kinds of fields,
also within politics.

What greed looks like

What greed looks like,
for power, money and prestige,
we only need to look around us,
in our world.

Dishonesty forbids us
to admit it, to perceive it,
because we conceal the true reasons.

We are under the control of our minds,
but we don’t even realise it.

The world needs wise leaders

More money and prestige
does not necessarily mean:
More wisdom, more leadership quality.
It often means the opposite,
by causing money and power to infect one’s head,
transforming the heart into ice and coldness,
expressing ruthlessness and arrogance.

A simple person with a heart
may well have more wisdom,
than a person with pockets full of money,
can understand people better
than those who look down on them from above,
thinking they are better than others,
exercise control over others,
humiliate and degrade others.

Wisdom means leading with humanity,
not acting like a tyrant,
Wisdom for the good of all,
not hiding in one’s own ego,
to share with the poor and needy,
to stand up for the weak with honour,
not behaving like an unbridled animal.

The world needs wise leaders.

Blinded by money, power, and prestige

Is it the purpose of our lives
to accumulate money and things,
to chase after titles and prestige,
to have power and control over others,
to be a slave to endless desires?

Or is it rather not that,
that divides us from our unity,
humanity as a whole,
as brother and sister
in the ocean of life,
in the collective consciousness,
whatever name we give it
for the nameless One,
who does not divide but unites,
connects us all together
as a drop of endless being?

Greed for money, power, prestige
divides us from each other,
is an expression of ego and duality,
makes us blind and deaf
for reality,
for the truth
to keep us trapped
in the labyrinth of our mind

What is necessary?
To change our point of view…
