Towns in rivalry
Hate arises
Violence at the horizon

Villages set boundaries
Sports atrophied into enemies
Exciting the minds
Polluting hearts

Families fight families
Blood-filled hatred
Tear the right
Trample on respect, human values

Bothers and sister
Clashing minds
Radiate their ego:
Envy and competion

Where lies this evil?
In our own mind
Root of good and evil
Changing in the wind

Time to get down
To the root of our troubles
Time to understand
Who we really are…

If we humans face trouble
Merit great suffering
Our humanity awakes
Then we help each other
With open heart
Not asking from where we come
What colour, religion we have
We are then one in distress
Standing together from man to man

Back in our everyday life we fall asleep again
In anonymity, distance, old habits

Foreign people who lay in their arms
Now avoid eye contact

So let us keep this humanity alive
Not just in bad times, but also in good times

Let us be aware of this deep happiness
Of this unique unity – as we are all One
With selfless help any time…

Sharing peaceful nature

My dear friends,

These photos were taken on a trekking tour in Finland close to a lake and I enjoyed this peace given by the beautiful nature.
Birds sang their sweet songs around, the light of the sun sparkled and flickered on the lake, smooth waves were gently touching the shores and nature my heart.

It is a kind of reflection remembering the time when all was still normal giving us hope to return to our everyday life and appreciate all those little things life offers us.
