We humans imitate Copy from childhood Words, sentences, habits Customs and traditions Through education and environment Culture and worldly influence Through politics and religion Accepting and relying on What we were taught Through our senses Through impressions and experiences Become a copy ourselves Which we pass on to our children
When we adopt language and dialects Identify ourselves with them Can’ t we then identify With love and peace?
Can we not become love and peace?
We are what we are right now: Accumulated burdens, burdensome donkeys With heavy baggage
We should free ourselves From all that separates us from each other What separates us from Him, the One
Love, unity, brotherhood Respect, tolerance, understanding Non-violence in thoughts, words and deeds Oneness among brothers and sisters Serving, helping each other Supporting those in need Sharing and caring Living in harmony and peace
This all will help us To jump over the shadows or our own ego…
If we humans face trouble
Merit great suffering
Our humanity awakes
Then we help each other
With open heart
Not asking from where we come
What colour, religion we have
We are then one in distress
Standing together from man to man
Back in our everyday life we fall asleep again
In anonymity, distance, old habits
Foreign people who lay in their arms
Now avoid eye contact
So let us keep this humanity alive
Not just in bad times, but also in good times
Let us be aware of this deep happiness
Of this unique unity – as we are all One
With selfless help any time…
These photos were taken on a trekking tour in Finland close to a lake and I enjoyed this peace given by the beautiful nature.
Birds sang their sweet songs around, the light of the sun sparkled and flickered on the lake, smooth waves were gently touching the shores and nature my heart.
It is a kind of reflection remembering the time when all was still normal giving us hope to return to our everyday life and appreciate all those little things life offers us.
Stay safe and healthy, dear friends 🙂
Again one year has passed and we can ask us where we stand.
Could we make progress on our inner path, the path of spirituality or are we still equipped with old worn out pathes and habits (bad habits) – then it is time to change.
Each of us has to see where he or she stands – honestly we have to ask ourselves where to make improvements. If we take our path seriously we surely will make progress. There are things we have to give up, and things we have to give space into our daily life, positive things. As Gandhi has put it: “Be the change if you wish to see a change in the world…” No-one can take away our own responsibility, each of us has to take this responsibility and be aware of: caring and sharing, helping and supporting, in service to man – there are our real human roots…
May we all enter the path of harmony and love among us.
Be strongly embraced with good wishes for 2020
Yours friend Didi
